Can You Say Disgusting?

Verizon is yet again the only vender to not offer the Moto G as part of it's regular line up. Oh wait, I stand corrected... you may purchase it for a great price of 99USD but only as part of Prepaid plan. You may not use the phone in conjunction with a contract line for 6 months after purchase. If you choose to purchase the phone at full retail at 199USD then sure you may use ...

Droid Pre-Order?

Does anyone know what date we can pre-order the Droid? I know Best Buy is one option, but I prefer to go with Verizon. Anyone?

My ideal is to one day have my phone replace my everyday camera. One less thing to carry around.

Hey RIM, Where Is the Love? Storm 2 camera love that is.

Another phone blog reports that T-Mobile's BlackBerry Onyx 9700 (BOLD) will launch with a 5-megapixel camera. Where is the Storm love? Last year, I finally went with the Storm, only after trying out the Omnia and its better camera 1st. I only went with the Storm b/c I didn't like the small qwerty keyboard presented on the Omnia. Its getting harder to choose RIM, whom I've come to like, when other phones like the Omnia 2 and ...

Re: Options for a Phone Exchange

I thought this might be the way to go. Any advice on how to approach this? I'm thinking that most people use the 30 day "worry free" to exchange for another type of phone, rather than switching out for a new phone of the same make and model.

Options for a Phone Exchange

I got my Omnia shipped on 11/26 and I just recently noticed a discoloration / spot in the middle of the touchscreen (just like a TV that has a spot on the screen that doesn't disappear). The spot measures about 1/4 of an inch wide, is very faint and you have to look very carefully to see it. Because I know it's there, it's become very distracting to me. My question to the experts is what options do ...

I also had the Premium plan, that pretty much included everything, and I also the Vcast Mobile TV package. My new plan is Nationwide Select, the data plan for smartphones/PDAs, VZNav and Visual Voice-mail. All of this is coming out to about the same price, maybe a little more a month. Of course pricing is the most convoluted piece of the puzzle. Before I committed to anything, I called Verizon and asked a lot of "what if" questions, so ...

I just moved to the Omni from a Voyager I used for a year. My order shipped on 11/26, so I've had some time with the phone. First of all, I'm keeping it. The Omni is truly amazing and comparing the Voyager to the Omni isn't a fair comparison to the Voyager. The Omni is so customizable and powerful. For example, if you get tired for its appearance, various programs, free or at cost, ...

Yes. Any info on the Omnia is appreciated. I'm really looking forward to this phone.

I'm all for the next "it" phone for the holidays. It seems for Verizon, at least, the "it" phone of the season is the Storm. Can anyone hint as to whether there are other Verizon iphone competitors coming out this year? Unfortunately, I'm not a Blackberry fan. Thanks in advance to those in the know. George

I'm worried that the update my affect my ability to stream. After going through so many hoops to get this ability, I want to make sure the update doesn't take it away. Can anyone verify this? Thanks!

Re: DATA PLAN A MUST FOR HTML BROWSER!!!!
Nov 11, 2007, 1:39 AM
in the LG Voyager VX-10000 forum

Since Voyager is the first phone to use an HTML browser that isn't a PDA or Smart phone, and because the phone is not even out yet, there seems to be a lot of confusion from VZW sales over which plans cover the Voyagers browser. One guy told me that the unlimited usage referred to in the various nationwide plans refers to Mobile Web 2.0 and not the HTML browser. He advised that, just like Verizon's PDA's and Smart ...

Voyager - HTML Browser Access Question
Nov 8, 2007, 1:57 AM
in the LG Voyager VX-10000 forum

I just pre-ordered the Voyager :D - - $199.00 after my upgrade discount. Question on charges for using the HTML browser feature of the phone. The Premium plan I got, speaks specifically about unlimited usage for Mobile 2.0 . . . I'm not sure of this covers using the HTML browser. Am I missing where usage is addressed for this feature and/or is its usage unlimited like the Mobile 2.0? Thanks!

New phone, or wait it out for something better?

I’ve been holding out on using my new every 2 discount in the hopes of a Verizon iPhone killer being released. As it stands, I don’t see this happening anytime soon. I currently have a VX-8000, which gives you a reference to where my mindset is. I’d happily stay with what I have, dreaming of Nokia and Sony Ericsson releasing a CDMA 5 mega-pixel, full blown web browser enabled phone. Unfortunately, I’ve been hooked by the VZ ...
