Mango update?

Wasn't this phone supposed to have had a Mango update? I bought it off Craigslist and they had done a hard reset, of course, but it has yet to tell me that an update is ready/available. The phone keeps saying that it's up to date but it's still showing as OS version 7.0.7004.0. Is there a way to get the network to send me the notification that I can update to Mango now? Is this something AT&T can do ...

I'm actually looking forward to this phone. I was going to get myself an HD2 but decided to wait for this one so I can have WP7 or whatever.

I bought a used iPhone on craigslist and activated it through iTunes with a new AT&T account. How does the warranty work? The person that I bought it from purchased it at the beginning of this year. Does apple only honor the warranty for the original purchaser? Or would I still be covered? It's not a huge deal, obviously, since I didnt ask before I purchased the phone and activated it. Thought I'd ask anyways.

sorry. should've been clearer. I meant from the browser. For example, if I went to a website on my old windows phone, I could download a mp3 file directly from their website and play it on the phone. does the iphone allow you to do that?

...can the iphone download and play mp3 files(from the phone)? Every windows mobile device can, but, i heard that the iphone is very locked down and I wouldn't be all that surprised if they prevented you from doing that. I want to buy it, but, I might be without a computer on my vacation, and I'd like to keep up with my favorite podcasts....

i recommend the wing. it has a slide out qwerty keypad so you dont have to have the keypad showing all the time. plus it has a touch screen.

plus, the TyTN has a 400 MHz processor(the wing is 200). I think I may have to look into trading my mda for this one....
