It doesn't matter how fast of speeds you have. You can't do data and voice together which is the beauty of 3g.
And secondly, even if simultaneous data and voice were possible with evdo, the speeds were 100mb down, it wouldn't matter because all sprint phones suck.
In fact, all carrier phones suck, but with gsm I can use any phone I want. I can also use voice or data any time I want. Gsm sure is nice.

I have t-mobile and can watch youtube. N82 on wifi or edge. Can use the mobile youtube site, access full youtube with emtube. Can even save them for later. And as soon as flash lite 3 gets ported to the n82, will be able to watch them in the browser just like on a desktop. Only the n95 8gb can do that right now.
On a side note I don't think the iphone has access to the full set ...

Why would you want a carrier branded version when unbranded is available?
Leave carrier branded phones to the newbies, cheapskates, and fools. Unbranded are for people that want the real deal and aren't afraid to pay for something nice.
If you're on a cdma carrier you have no choice. But if on a gsm carrier there is no excuse to have a crappy phone.

There won't be a cdma version of the z10. Won't come to america either. The e8 I can definitely see over here. Moto loves to recycle popular phones, so if the e8 is a hit, I'm sure we will see it on american carriers eventually. But the z10 will follow the z8. Not to mention it's uiq. Gonna be very expensive and mainly for people that want something different.

I agree. But was really talking vs. the gsm version. Dropping from a 3.2 autofocus to a 2 without autofocus is pretty bad.
Putting against the n82 was just exaggeration and shouldn't have.

Yes. Compared to my 5mp carl zeiss with autofocus, xenon flash, vga video at 30fps the camera on this phone is garbage.
Compared to the original u600 it's garbage too.
If a camera doesn't have autofocus, it's pretty much worthless.

Of course they would. I tested this phone out and the browser is pretty slow. Very hard to navigate around also. Didn't like it one bit.

Verizon has to add it to their get it now catalog. That's the only way you will be able to get it. For some reason i can't see them allowing this as it would take sales away from the other devices that provide html. I sure hope they do though.

Anyone that wants a good phone knows where to get it. And from the carrier isn't the place. So to all of us that buy unbranded phones, it doesn't matter what at&t sells, or what they do to their phones.
Anyone who wanted a shine would have bought it and probably sold it by now. Anyone seeing the shine for the first time when seeing it on at&t doesn't know **** about phones and the exact person the at&t shine ...

The real shine has a schneider lens and auto focus. Looks like the at&t has a regular lg lens and no auto focus. The real shine also has a document viewer.
And who knows what else has been changed. A carrier phone will never compare to the real deal.

2048x1536 is the resolution of all cameras claiming 3 or 3.2. The actual resolution is 3.15
Not bad, but...
The only problem with verizon phones is the lack of java. You will never see decent web browsing on this phone, or cool programs like google maps or gmail. And of course the verizon ui makes me want to gag. Hardware wise it is very nice though.

What? With t-mobile you have the option to use more phones than any other carrier. Tmobile-branded, unlocked quad and tri bands. Even with at&t you are limited to only quad.

You have to choose save and send. If you just hit ok after the message it will only send. After typing, hit options, save and send.
There doesn't seem to be a way to make it automatically save without telling it to each message.

You keep getting bad username/password right? Sometimes it works right away, sometimes get bad username/password and have to keep trying over and over again.
Even sending email is not reliable. It will say it was sent properly, but never was. I did a test and sent 10 emails from the phone. All 10 said it was sent, only 6 actually arrived at the destination.

Don't ever go to pagecomm. My verizon contract ended so I wanted to try out sprint. He was like yeah, no problem, if you don't like it, you can return it. I returned it 2 days later and I lost $50 on a restocking fee on the phone. And they "mail" a check that I still have not receieved.
That said, I had sprint about 4 years ago, never paid the bill, ended up getting cut off. Got approved ...
memory card speed
Are certain memory cards faster than others? My friend has a 256k in his phone and it is horribly slow. He claims because it is a generic that came in a boost phone. He has a samsung and got the card from a friend.
What cards work best in samsungs? This phone can take up to 2 gig I think. Wouldn't think size would have anything to do with speed since nothing is moving. Could be wrong though.
