i had a razr, and when i went to the beach a few years ago it would do the same thing. I would eventually recieve the message and send one back but sometimes it would take up to like a half hour or so. i think its just a motorola thing because ive heard other people say they do the same thing.

but im also looking at the Nokia E71x. i like the slimness, price, and the fact that its a nokia just makes it that much better. and id take a normal smartphone over a touch screen (non iphone) phone anyday. so im between the two.

well a friend of mine has the first one that came out, and the internet was reallllllllly slow so i didnt even want it. then the 3G came out and i figured it would be the same way so i didnt want it either. and then this one i heard was going to be super fast (at least faster than the others) so i figured id give it a shot. this lg rumor is just not cutting it anymore ...

alright, im currently with u.s. cellular on my parents plan. and i was wondering something. i want the new iphone reallllllllly bad, and i figured that i could get my mom to sign the contract for me temporarily (im only 17 til november) but once i turn 18, could i have the contract switched over into my name?

i must say this is a sweet lookin phone. i just got my lg rumor about a week and a half ago and im not too sure about it yet. this may be a phone that i switch to if i decide i dont like the rumor.
motorola hint..
what will the prices be on it. like retail price and two year contract price. cause i just got the lg rumor last week and so far im kinda iffy about how long its going to last. i like the phone but i always tend to be a motorola fan so if any of you could provide this info for me it'd be a real help. thanks :D

yeah i hope so, im definately sticking with my razr til this problem is fixed, but i want a messaging phone really bad, but i want something thats going to last and not be all messed up after a month of using it.

is there any chance that this phone is coming to us cellular? i want a messaging phone but im scared to get the rumor cause i know how many problems everyone seems to have with the keyboard freezing up so i was wondering if this was coming as an upgrade, even though i hate samsung phones?

No i'm from right around the West Virginia border in Maryland. There is definately no way i'll be paying full price for another phone because i just payed $220 dollars for a Strobe in May and it was DEFINATELY not a good investment! It has the worst camera i have ever seen in a phone and i don't recommend anyone in getting it. RAZR and KRZR's are the best phones available and by the way i heard that ...

Does anyone here know if there will be a phone sale that will offer phones like razrs or razr2's for 2 year contract prices for people that are in the middle of there 2 year contract for christmas this year?...i have a strobe right now and hate it and i was wanting a razr2 really bad...did they do this last year?

Well there is absolutely no chance in At&t keep Cellular One around. If i recall Dobson sold Cellular One to At&t so that Cellular One customers will have access to the iPhone. If they kept Cellular One around, the customers would not have access to the iPhone since it is exclusive to at&t. this is definately a huge possibility...why do you think verizon has been buying out smaller cell phone companies like Ramcell and Rural Wirless?..so they can gain more customers without a huge price..if they really wanted a lot of new customers, they would aim at a bigger CDMA company, like U.S. Cellular...its the same thing with at&t with the dobson buyout..Dobson was one of the biggest GSM providers so they bought it to widen the gap from Verizon to stay ...

the strobe has the best call quality out of any other phone i've had other than the Motorola v323...it has way better call quality of any Kyocera i've ever used (Kyoceras usually suck all around)

well a lot of carriers don't like you to use excessive roaming... and also i dont feel like driving about 60 or 70 miles to go get the phone and then have them try to get a number for my area that wont be long distance...or i would...but i was wondering if you think they would be expanding in my area to keep up with at&t because they are clearly the leaders in coverage right now

to answer wireless buddy's question i live in Frostburg which is about a 3 or 4 minute drive from Cumberland if you take the interstate..but anyways...i know that Verizon has no native coverage to this area because if they did then there would probably be a store around for it somewhere...so up here i guess it is going off of U.S. Cellular's towers because we don't have alltel either... at&t bought Cellular One to take over this area and ...

Does anyone here know how the coverage around the western maryland area is for nextel..i heard it sucks and that they only have coverage around the interstates...could you's fill me in on coverage around here?

Okay, i know how verizon likes to keep pace with at&t and i was wondering, since at&t recently bought out a carrier to take over the western part of maryland, is it likely that verizon will expand their network into the western maryland area?

well i'm leaving U.S. Cellular within the next year for at&t and was just wondering if the rumor of Verizon buying U.S. Cellular to limit competition without a huge price that alltel would draw was true and that maybe i would stay with U.S. Cellular if they were switching to Verizon...i really need on a huge network and not U.S. Cellular's tiny one

to me, it really doesn't matter what phone i have because as long as i can call text and store contacts i'm fine. But i just wanted to get on at&t's big network and get rid of U.S. Cellular (aka smallest network ever!!)

Have any of you heard about when the deal will be finalized between dobson and at&t so that at&t will have completely taken over Cellular One and will begin selling all the products of at&t..hopefully soon cause U.S. Cellular is really starting to get on my nerves!! :evil:

I have recently heard from a reliable source that Verizon Wireless is trying to make out a deal to buy out U.S. Cellular.. they have been trying to buy out U.S. Cellular for ages but have never came to a deal that USCC actually agreed to..so my question is that have any of you heard of Verizon buying out U.S. Cellular..i really hope this deal goes through because Verizon has just about the biggest network in the country ...

you see...U.S. Cellular only releases phones after no other carrier wants them and U.S. Cellular can get them at a cheap price and make a whole bunch of money off of them since they aren't paying much to get them in the first place...the simple answer is..they haven't been testing the Q... they probably tested it after all the other carriers were done with it..thats why U.S. Cellular will never be a major carrier not only because they can ...
