Usually, when connecting phone to phone, the first device (the one that is searching and initiating) creates the password. Then, the second device needs to input the same password. If you are using your friend's phone to initiate the connection to your Sync, you would first enter your own made-up password, and then enter the exact same password in your Sync when it asks. Re: Battery Life
With the OLED display, battery life should be excellent as that type of display uses much less power than LCD backlights. However, don't expect the display to last long. OLEDs wear out quickly. Someone who uses it a lot may get barely over one year before the display dies.
My complaint is that if one thought the iPhone was difficult to dial when driving, this thing looks really tough.
