Walmart is currently offering this phone for free but I'm a little discouraged because I'm a happy blackberry curve user (happy except for the random resets) However AT&T now requires all data phones to have a 30.00 data plan...yes I'm a weirdo that only uses it for the other functions and rarely the internet...which means I'll have to migrate to a different "class" of phone than what I am use to but I know I'll need a qwerty keypad ...

Did you try my other suggestion? The newest msg is at the top of the inbox usually which will avoid u scrolling...again, highlight the newest msg only, hit options button (left of trackball) choose delete prior and it should clear all of the old text...other than those two suggestions I don't know of any other ways. Shift held + b or t only takes u to the bottom or top of pages fast...least that's all I've found they do.
