Scammy New Plans

in the Article: T-Mobile Rolls Out New Plans with Two-Year Phone Upgrades forum

Don't get me wrong. I am T-Mobile's number 1 supporter, but charging around $90 plus for the joy of being a bit easier to upgrade your phone. This is 300% higher than some of the older, just as complete, plans. A new customer should receive a greater discount than existing customers. Its the cost of doing business. Many times, to convert a customers from at&t or Verizon, T-Mobile will make zero profit over the newly acquired customer's first few years. ...

Fire Extinguish

Perhaps Samsung could send everyone a free fire extinguisher. That would be less expensive, and post a fire extinguisher as an official Samsung accessory for future purchases. Buy a Samsung Note 7, get a FREE FIRE EXTINGUISHER. How cool would that be. :)

Ouch! New Rate Plan not as Good as It Looks!

Ouch! Trying to fit everyone into one plan may not work as well as Mr. Legere hopes. It’s a bit of smoke and mirrors, and I am a loyal T-Mobile customer with 9 lines. Most industries have multiple price points/ tiers for logical reasons. When you price everything the same, the price vs demand/ Supply vs demand curve won’t work correctly. Also, if you share your rate plan with friends and family who each help pay ...

I wish this company the best. However, the phone is hideous! For a phone with design language coming from a past Apple employee, they missed the specs in the looks department. Look at the way the screen fits/ is designed into the top of the phone. Well, its different, that's for sure. Speaking of this, I need to go find my doorstop.......

If the HTC One had been waterproof, then I would be okay with no changeable battery, but I laugh when everyday I see some poor Iphone sucker carrying around their charger looking for a place to plug it in at the mall or in a restaurant. (or sealed Android user, too). When I get home at night, I have a fresh GS4 battery charged in the external charger which you can buy on Amazon for like $19. ...

Buddy. WAKE UP. Not all people are alike. Even the Straight talk speeds are fine in many areas. Not everyone lives in remote timbucktoo like you and needs the speed up there. If he is happy with the service, and gets the high speeds he needs where he lives and travels, then its the perfect plan for him. And roaming on EDGE is fine for most people who don't roam that much.

I understand that you work for T-Mobile, but as I mentioned most T-Mobile employees don't understand their job. IT WILL WORK. Okay, as someone mentioned earlier, don't cancel in the first week. Everyone that has done this with me waited a month or 6 weeks anyway because they were busy. So that could be a very good point. But guess what, I am correct. I have done this several times and have had no problem with it what so ...

I have to say, Jon Doh, you are 100% wrong with your statements. First off, STAY ON TOPIC. This doesn't belong under my post. Second, did I mention you are 100% wrong again. T-Mobile has awesome 4G service, albeit probably not in your town. Now, I will give you the facts. 1) T-Mobile got the JD Powers award for best customer satisfaction for about 6 or so years in a row right until the possibly merger with AT&T. If ...

I actually have gotten mine. You are correct in that you have to have the data feature on the account when they process your return, but all of mine have come back (and my friends ) fine. However, that's definitely not a bad idea to wait one bill cycle plus a week or two and then do it. Great idea.

The Trick to a Cheap Phone at T-Mobile- BEATING THE SUBSIDY
Mar 21, 2013, 11:24 PM
in the Article: The Phone You're Paying For But Not Getting forum

There is a tricky way that works if you are switching to T-Mobile or qualify for a maximum upgrade online to get a really cheap price on a phone. If you are planning on going on their Monthly 4G plan, there is a better way to do it than they will tell you in the store or on the phone. Don't try and explain this to them as they are not bright enough to figure this out. Lets give ...

Well, you actually don't have to pay the subsidy. You can pay full price and then activate on the pre-pay plan. For myself, that wouldn't work as I travel heavy internationally, and the domestic footprint is a bit smaller, but for 90% of Americans, they can pay full price, then get the prepay plan on the same network and voila, they are not paying subsidies, but are on the same network.

How do I join your family. Either you are super rich giving all your kids almost $700 phones, or you are a very poor planner. If you can not afford to shell out $3000.00 in phones over Christmas, then that means you don't have any savings. If you really want those phones for $200 bucks a piece, you have to realize that you will still be paying that money back to the company for the next ...

Nice thinking about switching carriers, but again, you are missing a big piece of the puzzle. First, you usually don't get that huge $400 subsidy. Maybe on their sale phone of the week, or some odd Thanksgiving day promotion. But even so, there is something even bigger than the subsidies, and that's the new expensive plans. For example, Tmobile has unlimited talk, text and 5GB of 4G data for 69.99 with no phone subsidy. AT&T for the same ...

What should I do?

I love the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It is one of the worst phone builds every (super cheap plastic, broken twice so far) but (in my opinion it has the most amazing software (it has 6 or 7 features that I use that most Android don't offer custom to Samsung)). So now, here come the HTC One, by far one of the most beautiful phones in aluminum (again, just a personal opinion). However, one would have to be crazy ...

I have been told by store reps to expect the Blackberry WiFi in the next few months. Maybe, they will launch the Curve only online as they did (originally) with the 8800 with no plans to launch it in the stores. Either way, I have feeling Hotspot at Home is not doing too well. T-Mobile is offering any existing customer to upgrade to either of their hotspot at home phones for the maximum discount price, even if they upgraded ...
