Apple watch

Hey, I have been searching online for awhile for a blind friend of mine to try and find out if the new Apple Watch is gonna have Voiceover on it, has anybody heard anything about this? Thanks!

Dude, I work for Sprint, I would've told you the same thing. No way to prove that you didn't do that yourself by opening it incorrectly. The warranty covers things going wrong with software, or something electrical going wrong, not a hinge getting stuck. That's why you should always get the $7 insurance. Don't knock the company because you weren't smart enough to read the fine print.

Ok, I can do that. Can you do anything on accessories?

Thanks for the input, but I know what's a good price on phones, I work for Sprint, I know what all's out there. I was asking for help from a dealer, not for a critique on what the service was. You can't tell me that they can't change the rate plan price, because I've seen dealers offer discounts on that on this site. If there is a dealer that can offer me better than what's on ...

Can anyone help me price-wise for new service?
Nov 18, 2007, 10:52 AM
in the Helio forum

I'm planning on signing up for Helio mid to late December; I just wanted to see if anyone would be able to beat the prices that they have on there right now. Ocean is 199.99 currently & the all-in unlimited plan is 99.99. Thanks!

Nope, & if they do, it most likely won't be for quite awhile.

Just so you know, you just shot that customer in the foot, because if they activate that old handset from a friend, it's gonna reset their rebate, & it'll be 2 years till they can get another one. I would have told them to call in to *2 & ask for retention, or gave them the retention number directly(877-766-7697.) From what your describing, they sound like good customers, & with the threat of 4 lines leaving Sprint, ...

I can't take you up on any offers right now, but I plan on switching to Helio in December. Are you just offering a deal on the phone, or are you giving some sort of a discount off of the plan?

Re: Iphone

Don't know if you all know about this, but Sprint had a chance to have the Iphone before Cingular did, cause Apple approached them first. Sprint's "Response" to the Iphone was the Upstage, hence the name. I got this info from my roommate who works on Sprint campus; He & the rest of the team he was on were on a conference call with the president of Sprint, & that was one of the questions that was ...

It has speaker phone, yes. As far as ringtones, you should be able to because you can do voice memo on it. I haven't worked with this specific phone, but I'm pretty sure you can.

Lol, if that happens, then maybe I'll get a job there, since you'll probably revamp everything. Let me know when ya find that rich family.

I haven't heard about the phones auto-updating, but I know that if you take the phone into the Sprint store, they should be able to do the update there.

Re: Sprint Axing Customers
Jul 7, 2007, 6:24 PM
in the Sprint forum

Just as an idea of why Sprint is doing this, for every minute a customer stays on the phone with a rep, Sprint is spending $2. So if you only are on the phone 1 minute with a hundred reps, your pretty much guaranteed to be costing Sprint more than what your worth to them.

I gotta say that I recommend my favorite phone that Sprint has, which unfortunately is soon to be retired :( . It's the Sanyo 8400. I think you should still be able to get the White one, not sure on the exact date for the black to be discontinued. Just to give you a quick overview on it, it's got the power vision capability, it's got a multimedia player in it, 64mb mSD plus 60mb ...

Just so ya know, this wasn't something that started when they starting moving accounts, or starting account in Ensemble. This process is referred to by Sprint as "New For You" or NFY. I've been working with Sprint for a couple of years, & I'm pretty sure it's been going on since at least that long, if not much longer.

I don't know your zip code, so I couldn't say. You can always check it at the Sprint coverage tool: http://coverage.sprintpcs.com/IMPACT.j sp?covType=sprint&returnUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fnext elonline.nextel.com%2FNASApp%2Fonlinestore%2F en%2FAction%2FDisplayPhones&id12=UHP_Coverage Tab_Button_CheckCoverage&mapzip=29219&x=52&y= 8 M1 does have pretty good signal quality, couldn't say if it's any better/worse than the 8400(probably more opinion than fact in most cases), but if it shows on there that you have good coverage, I'd say try *2 + talk; then state PRL. That helps with roaming, which can help your coverage. If that doesn't work, then ...

I also forgot to mention/confirm, if this really does happen to you, Sprint gives you 30 days to port out to another company, & they credit full remaining balance, along with the ETF(Early Termination Fee). So if you don't' like Sprint . . . Start calling in. Alot.

I just want to tell everyone, I went back into work for some overtime earlier today( I work for a Sprint Third Party Call Center), & I read the full article on this from Sprint. What Sprint is stating is that they were terminating the contracts for people who called in excessively, not just 90 times a month like everyone is saying, we're talking hundreds of times. This also isn't for people who call in that much ...

Re: Where is Sprint headed??
Jul 7, 2007, 2:31 PM

Coming from the angle of an employee for the company, dealing with your last paragraph, the reason they got rid of these customers was because they were calling in HUNDREDS of times per month. I read all the stuff on it a bit earlier today when I went in for some overtime, & they stated that the people who had been released from Sprint were only 1 in every 40,000 customers that Sprint had, so mainly just the ...

Lol, In response to your last question, there's no way that Sprint is going under, their actually doing fairly well. Sprint's new thing is "Sprint Ahead", you might have seen some of the new commercials, it's basically stating that Sprint is no longer a Telecom company, & that it's all about the network speed, & they are even boasting that soon they will be the first carrier with 4g technology. As far as churn, Sprint has several ...

Hey, don't know if you canceled yet, but if ya haven't, try writing a letter to this address: Sprint Nextel 2001 Edmund Halley Drive Reston, VA 20191 It'll be forwarded to a team called EHC(Employees Helping Customers), they should give you a call, & they'll probably be able to help you get your old plan back, or at least something that is close to it. Sorry to hear about your experience, I know how frustrating it is, I see it ...

Hey man, I know how you feel, I work for a third party center too. Here is the ironic thing, we get 10% off of Sprint, & we get 12% off of Cingular. Shows how much Sprint cares about the people who work for them. In response to the other guy who wanted you to "pack up" & go work for the actual Sprint, all I gotta say is good luck with that. I've been ...

Hey, sorry to butt into the conversation here, lol. Sprint & Verizon offer about the same things, only thing that Sprint might have that Verizon wouldn't have is the speed of their vision(Internet). As far as phones, Snuggles, if you are gonna go with Sprint, I would HIGHLY recommend the Sanyo 8400. It's got all the capabilities that you should need in a phone, it's got great reception, & out of all the phones that Sprint ...

Jrfdsf, I gotta say, at least your not bashing on the company as a whole, & for that I've got to thank you. I work in an escalation dept for Sprint(PCS Side mainly). I do have to disagree with your comment on Ensemble being better than Premier. For employees, it's much harder to get the right answers for customers, & it's next to impossible to get straight answers on billing, because of the new "Simplified" billing, ...

Hey man, I get exactly what your saying about the billing issues, but you gotta understand, it has nothing to do with how new the company is. I work for Sprint, in an escalated group, & I see stuff like you described, plus alot worse, every single day. It happens with every single carrier, just kind of a bad luck thing when it happens to you. All I can suggest is that you ignore the possible ...
