the phone is highly impractical, though. the size of a snickers bar (why is it necessary to make it so damn small!??!?!) crowds the keys and gives it a tiny hard-to-read screen. it's a music phone, yet not music store compatible. makes no sense.

are you sure you have everything in the correct folders?
mp3's go in MEDIA folder and the bought songs in MUSIC folder. i did that exact same thing not too long ago.

i went to radio shack to pay my phone bill. i gave the guy my sprint payment card, and it wouldn't read. he told me he could punch in the numbers but he'd have to charge me an additional $10 :o
yeah... i didn't buy that. so i just went and paid the bill online. extra $10 to punch in numbers, whatever.

i totally agree, the person who said ''the customer is always right" really needs a good smack. that leaves customers believing they are entitled and opens the door for a great deal of abuse.
yes, the customers do give us a job and they are the reason we receive a paycheque. BUT that does NOT entitle them to walk on us or abuse us.

yes i'm jealous of an overpriced phone that's lacking basic features even low-end phones have these days. you sure pegged me. [/sarcasm]
there are a lot more reasons to dislike the iphone besides the fact that it's on a competing carrier. half a grand + for a pretty looking phone that's still technically in beta stage and is lacking in a lot of basic features is an insult. that's a pretty big negative.

there is a difference between not knowing the primary language, and refusing to learn it... as previously stated, there are plenty of people who just flat out refuse to learn the primary language (english) when they are perfectly capable of doing so. the dire straights they've lived is irrelevant; they're here now, and communication is a big part of surviving here. and they refuse a comprimise... yet expect us to bow to them. that's hardly right.

i won't go to a primarily german speaking area of germany and expect the majority to learn english for my sake. likewise, one should not come to the primarily english speaking u.s. and expect the majority to learn their language for their sake. it's just not practical.
