Ive had the phone since 12/4 and I dont believe it has the flashlight feature anymore. I kinda miss having it.
The O2 does take better pictures using flash on the camera though. The flash on the original Omnia gave off way too much light and pictures were awful.
I have SPB installed on my O2 and I am loving it! :D

If you just type the first few letters of the contact you want, it will find the near matches when u hit send and then u just need to choose which name. Hope that helps if you havent figured it out already :wink:

Go to this site and install this cab to your phone. It will install on your device not my storage or storage card. You can find the shortcut in the folder "programs". This will wake/light up your screen when you have a missed or new text message and missed call. Program works great and its free :D

It will not go off if your phone is turned upside down in etiquette mode. I found this out the hard way, but the alarm will go off if your phone is on silent.

I ended up typing all my contacts into my outlook address book. It took me a few hours .. but now everytime I sync my phone it updates. :D

Help! Since i've switched to the Omina I no longer receive my text msgs when they are sent to my # @vtext.com :? I assume its because the Omnia is a pocket pc .. is there a fix to this? Is there a different address I need to be using?
Any info on this would be appreciated! :wink:

Omnia 20 ... the "My Storage" is your 8b that your Omnia came with. The Storage Card is the external micro sd card you put into the phone (by the battery). :wink:

Push down on the page till you get the pop up .. and select "text selection on" .. then it will allow you to copy/paste. I hope that is what you were asking about, if not..so sorry :wink:

The UI is much nicer and it offers you so many ways to customize your phone. I got it along with the SPB Pocket Plus and it works great. I almost think it runs a little faster, but then again that could be just me. Try searching youtube for the SPB on the Omnia. :wink:

Its not the clock on my phone necessarily, its the time stamp on my messages. If someone sends me a text it says they sent it at 830am and when I reply to it , mine says it sent at 431pm. Strange.. I dont know how to fix it :?
I have found several little bugs with the phone but end up finding the solution on a forum. I am still loving the phone though :D
Text message time stamp
My text message time stamps are off. The ones I send the time is correct but when someone sends me one, the time is off by several hours. Has anyone else been having this problem? Any ideas on a fix?
I saw on some other forum about changing the time zone to GMT-1 Azores and then manually setting the clock to my time (Pacific). Well that didnt work 8O

Thanks! That fixed my issue with not being able to turn WiFi off! Now if only I could figure out why my screen wont change from portrait to landscape :paranoid:

I cant seem to turn off the wireless on the phone under the Wireless Manager :paranoid: It was working fine, but then all of a sudden I cant turn that feature off. It will allow me to turn off the phone and bluetooth but not the wireless :x
So frustrating since this is my first smartphone and I have spent hours with it so far. I did try taking the battery off and rebooting ...

I currently have the Family Plan Premium 700 mins which runs me about $110 for my line and $9.99 for each of my 2 additional lines (my other lines dont have all the premium features, only unlimited texting).
Soo my question is .. does anyone know how much more I would be paying if I upgrade to the Connect Plan w/unlimited texting?
I am trying to figure out if I am going to be paying an arm and a leg ...

Mobile Email App
I bought my Voyager used and there is a Mobile Email application installed on it. I tried to delete it but it tells me "License not found. Insert the card used to download this app."
Any ideas on how to delete it?

Does anyone know how to clear out the T9 vocabulary? I bought the Voyager from someone who had some words in there that interfere w/what im trying to type. For example, when I try to type a :( ... it gives me "(619 " which is probably a number they had used before.

Problem with exterior qwerty keyboard...
Problem w/the external touch qwerty during mobile web. I go to enter a website and hit the "123" key to enter a number it works fine, then when I try to hit the "abc" key ...it wont register and I'm stuck in the 123" mode and it wont let me go back . I can still use some of the other buttons like clr and end but it wont let me use any letter keys :( ...

Ha ha u peeps are funny!! Well if you have your phone sitting out .. u should notice the front screen light up when ur getting a call. Pretty hard to miss since the screen is so big. I usually have mine sitting out and will notice the screen light up out of the corner of my eye :wink:
