I have noticed that after almost a year having the 3gs that can't make it home after a hour day with out chafing. It wasn't always like this. So that said I started checking and I was at 35% with 3hr 31 m of usage, that's everything lumped together. And it had used 4 hr 52 min standby. Has anyone checked thiers? Do these numbers on average match.

Mine puts their map there when you add their address through google maps and when they don't have a pic I'd set up aldready. So in GM type the persons address then hit add to contacts

I switched when the 3g phone came out paid 145 early term. and wouldn't do a thing different. I get more dropped calls in the Toledo area then on VZ but that's minor. Just go to the AT&T store play with a 3gs for a little bit it awesome phone. Use the Internet for everything on the phone. Weather,games, tools concrete calculator, construction calculator etc. App store is at 70+ thousand no other carrier can offer close to ...

What would be the reason to delete any calls I have never deleted any, you can scroll back what seems like hundred's of calls.

The new software actually allowes devleopers to make apps for turnbyturn something they had not allowed in the past. The Tomtom dock looks pretty sweet but you don't have to buy the dock to use the software. And even at 100$. It only take 10 months to catch up ro the AT&T crap.

One thing that I noticed is I never see that checker boxes when your waiting for the screen to load as your scrolling through a wesite. Even if I was going back up through a page I already looked at my 3g would give me checkers if I scrolled to fast.(wifi)
All in all I say it's worth it at 399 already have a couple of friends ...

Just try it and you'll get used to it. The keyboard is pretty easy to use one handed anyhow. Dont try it for two meassages then say I can't do it. Give it a week.

No big deal but you should beable to mms without a third party app. What kills me is when I talk to a AT&T rep they blame apple. When I talk to a apple rep they blame AT&T maybe I should do a conference call and let them argue it out.

I have found that my Jabra BT530 works for playing music and you tube but it's aggravating to have that delay is all. I also have a visor mounted Jabra speaker that works that same way. Was hoping to catch up on abc new with out having to us headphones but their app does not support it yet.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm going to maybe I'll go back to the voyager, or maybe get the pre so I can learn all the gestures. (lame). Mms is just a small part. Email is fine till AT&T gets their **** together.

Yes there apps. That you can buy ( most under 5$) that will allow you to send them but they aren't going to be as nice as the built in SMS and mms features.

It's available only in the new3.0 software. So you must have been playing with a old 3g phone. The new 3gs phones come with 3.0 software.watch the key note listed on apple.com tells you all about it. Better yet watch this video. http://www.apple.com/iphone/guidedtour/

No offense but the last AT&T rep I talked to told me that mms was enabled on the 17th. Haven't heard or read one time that it was ape holding things up. (humm)

If we don't call and complain how is Att going to know how many people are really wanting mms. How is it that you can mms on all the other AT&T phones just not the iPhone. Makes them look unorganized.
Dust under screen
Has any one else had this problem. Mine might be caused from a drop, which is the first thing the tech asked. Of course I said never dropped it. If any one else has similar situations can you please post if they reject your warranty claim or just replace it.

A Pros vs Con of the MAX
Pros
1: camera 2 meg pixel
2: Speakers phone works while phone is closed
3: Screen is crystal clear same pic on the 710 and 815 look blockey
4: Play buttons on outside very nice
5: Stereo bluetooth capable
6: when searching contacts you can search using the second letter of the the contacts name which comes it handy when you have a couple of hundred contacts
Cons
1: voice not doesn't record the other person on the line while in a phone ...

yeah there is a lock code in the menu, can't Lock it like the 710 by hitting the menu then the * which I used allot for my daughter. From what I can tell you have to buy ring tones can't use mp3s on the memory card or the phone. I have to call and ask for sure.

It does have Talking Keypad, Contact list Entries, and Recent Call Entries Which for for the most part are something that I wouldn't use.
