I got no problem with the company its the policies. They dont care about long time customers, just first time. Its depressing, but i still do my job, and i do it the best i can.

Granted i hear the bad side, but thats all i have. but the coverage cant be as extensive yet. *shrgus* i'm sure its good. but TDMA has more towers as of now.

Hey so who out of all of us are Customer Care? I knwo besides me there are a couple. What call center do you work for? I work for the Edmonton center.

I havnt heard anything about the service in ALbany. But if its in NY i can almost guarentee that it will be great service, coverage wise.

Well it makes sense to me. I understand that ATTWS may not work as well for you as it will for others. Its not like everyone will get the same service, because areas are all different. Now I hope that Verizon has great service because it would suck to have a new Provider under a contract and have crappy coverage or service.

I have had alot of negitive feedback on GSM. The coverage apparently sucks compared to Digital, especially if you dont live in a major Metropolitine area.

Hey cindibear721, Ya know technically i dont work for attws, i work for a call center under contract with at&t. I may hate attws but i love my paycheck. and trust me, if you get me on the phone i'll give you good customer service, because its my job. The fact that there are alot of idiots does not take away from the thousands of employees that are good at they're job. Dont just pigeon hold us like that. I ...

Hmm, well I hope I know my stuff lol I work for Customer Care. :wink: :wink: Now I can only really give you an educated opinion about our Digial service, because thats the department i'm in. Now for what we offer, i'd probably use a phone like the Nokia 3560, because its pretty much the only color screen phone we have on the digital networks. yea, i cant find anythign on our systems for it. I cant imaging the at&t server having that information, but from what i've looked, we have nothing on that.

If i know money hungry freaks, and well being a human being i do, At& T will continue to make its money by using its name as the oldest name in wireless communications and extended coverage to make money off little companies like t-mobile. What would AT$T gain by merging? They'd lose out on soo much. Sorry i cant spell.

At&t coudl probably put Cingular in their pocket. But anyways, a merger would cost way too much money and would cause alot of stress for wireless users. Imagine all the people afraid of change? think about the one thing they have spent so much time to figure out. And just when they feel confortable with they're wireless provider, BAM! merger.

Yes, well the DOR is an expesive plan. Its great for travelling, but teh cheapest rate is 59.99 with 450 anytime minutes, and it does not have the umlimited nights and weekend promotion. The National is goo yes, but the HCA is only in the main metropolotin areas. now if you do not leave the state, then i HIGHLY recomend the Local plan. You can get more mintues than dor and the unlmited nights and weekends.

I work for At&t and i sugges digital, for the price, the coverage and the customer care. The network is more developed than the GSM but that will change in the near future.

As an employee for ATTWS cust care, I think that "WE" and i dont like saying that, we're going to lose most of our customers because of the plain fact that a customer can get a new hot phone for almost free to sign up, but after 10 years of loyalty, we cant give them even a discount. Its absolutely sick. I'm embarrassed to work for such a crappy company. I mean its not like i work directly for them. ...

Lol, The worst part of AT&T is the fact that i work for them lol. I work for a call center company that is under contract for At$t wireless. And i do agree that 95% of the time your rep will be a complete idiot with lower than an 8th grade education, or they just plain dont care about anything else than they're paycheck. As for me, I wouldnt get an ATTWS phone to save my life. Even though GSM service ...

Yea, but the forums should kinda be like EZboard forums. not threaded ya know? would save alot of screen space.
