bracelyn submitted this review of the Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r:

Overall rating: 1.5 (out of 5)

i got the phone from a tmobile promotional offer. but after having it for awhile, it began to mess up.

CONS-------------
-numerous friends never receive texts from me, or they'll get them an hour later when i've already met up with them.

-i do not received phone calls, but occasionally my phone will notify me that i've gotten a new voice mail.

-when the same person calls you and the calls are missed, it only listed the last time they called and not the first. doesn't seem like a big deal, but sometimes i'm curious.

-every now and again, i'll get a phone call from my mom and we can say "hi' but after our salutation, they phones stay connected buy won't let me hear my mom.

-the telephone charger the company sent me quit working after a year, so i went to the nearest tmobile store and got a new one for free, but it stopped working today, and the sales representative refused to give me another free charger. now i have to charge my phone on my computer and i'm worried this is even good for my phone. seems like the battery runs low real quick this way (on the computer).

PROS-----------------
it works when it wants to and sometimes that makes me happy.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

kjayne submitted this review of the Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r:

Overall rating: 1 (out of 5)

I am now on the 4th replacement of this Motorola V3t phone in ONE year - which has AGAIN just shorted out - dumped my phone book entries and now has a corrupted phone memory. What caused this? If carrying the phone in it's own protective cover in your purse or in your bicycle bag under the seat is the problem - I'm guilty! Not only that, it suddenly no longer finds the network in my home office or neighborhood.

Again, I am on the 4th, going on the 5th, replacement for this phone (stuck in a contract! Can't "upgrade" to new phone without getting new contract)

I would not only NOT recommend this phone to anyone, I would tell them to not take it even if it was Free - too much anger at an inanimate object.

Various reasons for the first 3 phones not working, but all problems seemed to be factory related.

oh, yeah - Pros: It's really pretty and thin. BIG DEAL!!!!!!

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

spazmo submitted this review of the Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r:

Overall rating: 1 (out of 5)

I've owned my Motorola Razr V3i for one year. Let me start by giving the two pros of this phone:

1) The phone works well for making/receiving calls.

2) It comes in a nice lavender metal

Outside of that, this phone does not function properly. More than half of the .mp3s (all purchased legally) do not play on my phone. The web browser crashes consistently and the camera has a fuzzy haze over it. The PC software cannot create proper video files and has problems in many of its functions. Also, if you lose the software CD, Motorola makes you spend 90 bucks buying the software bundled with a USB cable.

This leaves me with a very strong feeling that Motorola pulled a "gotcha!" on me.

If you like the Razr phone, than I advise you to get the basic model. The basic Razr is a good phone overall (though ergonomically awkward). However, Motorola has failed the consumer almost completely in every other regard.

In short, I feel like I've been ripped off by Motorola. The phone doesn't work and there's no real support for it. The Razr V3i is a damning testament to why Motorola has failed in the cell phone business (and is getting out of it). Due to the feeling of being ripped off, I can say that I will never buy a Motorola product again on principle.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

Exchange for another and the speaker on that one just crackled everytime someone spoke. Now on my 3rd replacement (in 2months) the internal earpiece has just died?! Does t-mobile refurbish these?

Looking for a damn good GSM phone.
-Rick

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

The delayed reaction when pressing the buttons is horrible. If often takes me about 10 minutes to respond to a text message. The battery life is also horrible and I now have to charge the phone at least once a day. By far the worst phone I have ever owned and I would not recommend buying.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

tanc138 submitted this review of the Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r:

Overall rating: 3.5 (out of 5)

I started off with a bad deal on this one and it just got worse. The first phone I had to take back and replace within 48 hrs. it would not log on to the web AT ALL. manager swapped it out not a problem. This second phone functioned fine until one day I was ironically calling customer service to find that it looked like my circuit board under the keypad burnt out and the phone started making random menu functions and digits dialing without me touching the keypad. After a LONG and irritating process of warranty repair (cell one not Motorola) they sent my phone back saying nothing was wrong when it was plainly evident the had done nothing except say here's your phone. All they had to do was power it on to see the problem. After several heated calls to customer care I settled for a deal for a new phone of my choosing for $50 (to equal insurance claim) I still think this was total b.s. all this occurred in my first four months of service with cellone. not a good way to start. So this phone is my third razr and it works perfect and I love it... until recently, my battery is dead in half a day. Damn, when will I learn. I will never buy another razr.

pros:
style
color (black)
keypad size
available accessories
good loud speaker phone

cons:
screen shows dirt/prints really bad
battery life
lack of memory, i can't store much
bluetooth does not have a strong connection and I'm using a motorola bluetooth earpiece
everyone has a razr

when the phone works it's outstanding
just too many issues to stay happy.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

SpoR submitted this review of the Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r:

Overall rating: 2 (out of 5)

T-mobil Razr V3T.
It is a crappy phone but it definitely has some nice features.
Everyone already listed the PROS for this phone so I'll just agree with most of those and then list the cons.

-Slow UI(user interface)/processor.
-picture browsing takes forever because the huge pics and slow load time.
-Standby battery life is decent but the 'in use' battery life is short.
-The battery meter is never accurate it always says 6(full),4, or 2 never anything else.
-Sometimes when its low it won't beep to let you know you need to charge it.
-Ringtones are sometimes mixed up, I'll set a tone for 1 person but it will use another person's ringtone.
-If you assign someone a ringtone you will never hear the 'wind chime' for text messages anymore, just their ringtone. This is really bad because most times text messages need to be discreet.
-There is a clock display on both the inside & outside of the phone but there is no date display anywhere. To see the date you must go into calendar.
-When you takes pictures sometimes the picture will look how it did when you snapped it but when you upload it somewhere it will look different.
-The phone makes this little buzzing noise when you open it.
-The keypad sucks especially for texting.
-Also the D-pad (directional arrow buttons) sucks because its small & flat.
-Fragile phone, its made with mostly metal and glass as compared to others which are mostly plastic.
-Recorded videos maximum time is only 30 seconds.
--Major CON, I'm already on my 3rd battery because the first one would just randomly shut off my phone. The 2nd one completely screwed up and wouldn't turn on at all. Seems like the phone kills batteries.

Overall I would not recommend this phone to anyone.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

FordRules94 submitted this review of the Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r:

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

This phone blows all the other older razrs away by far!!!...Why because it has every option a person could want, and it comes in BLACK!!! I've gone through many different phones for example the razr v3 the pebl the nokia 6133 the samsung t619 the sidekick 3 the nokia 6103 ext... before having the v3t i had the nokia 6133 and i dropped it in my bathroom and it hit the floor broke into pieces and got water damage from me not drying the floor from taking a shower yet...point being i needed a sturdy same feature or more phone and got this one not thinking it would be that great after using the well overrated v3 but boy was i wrong it is sturdier and well built the v3t had its first fall today and it bounced of my computer desk and smashed onto the floor i said o my god grabbed it picked it up thinking it was broken but there wasnt even a scratch!!! if you need to upgrade get this phone it will be a really smart decision, i have never liked a phone more... by the way even tho it is a razr it rings so loud u can actually hear it ringing in your poofy coat pocket like it was next to your ear!

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

ralph0722 submitted this review of the Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r:

Overall rating: 4 (out of 5)

I bought this RAZR V3i Dolce&Gabbana from T-Mobile after dumping Cingular. I'm not a iTunes user, i not a Internet user or even interested in the camera pixels (i have a radio, computer and digital camera at home). My main reason to buy this phone is was the styling and looks. The outside screen is crappy. Inside screen is beautiful. The gold & silver finish looks awesome. Keypad only looks cool, its horrible and impossible to text without having to look the flat keypad. Finally Motorola put the Ring-Vibe in this phone. RF is good. Battery life is average at best. Last me 1 day and half. Camera is ok for a phone. Menu is easy to use. Ear piece volume on the low side. Service with T-Mobie has been good so far. The phone is exactly what its supposed to do, be all flashy. Its not a serious business oriented phone. Its for the attention seeker.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)
