GregR submitted this review of the HTC Titan II:

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

The main reason I chose this phone was that I needed a desperate change from Android, IOS (apple), and Blackberry. To be honest, none of the major three competitors have changed their OS since their debut. Of course, they have all made great enhancements, but I’m tired of seeing the same basic formats and the same icons, etc. The things that sold me most were: 1. A welcomed changed in OS, 2. Build quality, 3. Screen size (4.7” is just right " not too big; not too small, and the camera (16mp). Once you have a larger screen, I guarantee it will be hard to you to ever go back. I use my phone mostly for texting, corporate email, web surfing, and picture taking. I’m not a member of the major social sites (facebook, etc.) so I can’t comment too much about their integration but I’m sure they are on par with the others. I can get a full day of heavy use out of one charge….moderate use will give you more than a day. Because this is a Microsoft product, the email is unsurpassed. I have not had one issue with any excel, word, power point documents what so ever. They all open with ease and without hesitation. Any images imbedded in emails come through just fine. The large tiles on the home screen may initially turn some people off, but for me, it’s a welcomed change not to see a ton of apps waiting for your every move. At this point, you can have up to 8 icon choices or 6 or less depending on the size/type of icon you have. Currently, I have the Phone, Text messaging, email (outlook), camera, and weather. The call quality is excellent and the LTE is super fast…even the 4G HSPA+ is much faster than Verizon’s 3G. LTE is not in too many markets….but it’s expanding. The market place has all of your most popular apps….but it’s no where near the Android or iTunes. I always take advantage of AT&T’s 30 day return policy.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)
