So far this device has been the best device for me. I have found that this device does everything I need and is quick.
Pros:
phone version of PSP
not too light or heavy
battery last a while even during use
easy to use
lighting display is great
camera has a flash
camera is great
Cons:
internal memory not big enough
background picture has to be cropped

I just had to add to the reviews on this site. I have to say this is my first SE device and I was happy that I got it and I am willing to buy more of them as long as SE keeps up the great work.

I have always been a Sony Ericsson fan . So when I heard AT@T had got the Xperia PLAY 4G I was really happy . This phone has not disappointed me yet but it has only been one day so far . I have been all over this phone in and out of it apps but I can't seem to find the voice memo that this site said it has . So if anyone knows where it's at please let me know . The lack of a voice memo is the only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 rating . That and the lack of zoom on the camera unless that is hiding somewhere to .

Just got it last week and this is my third android phone so far. The main issue I had with other phones when it comes to playing games is that the game lags whenever I receive a text message. Gameplay on the Xperia Play is very smooth and I never experienced lag. Battery life seems longer than your average android phone. Controls are very responsive. Its also great for watching videos as there is a pair of speakers on the left side with excellent sound quality.
Analog pads are kinda confusing sometimes and power button difficult to press.
With Optimized apps, this is not just a gaming device but a powerful multimedia machine.
