Inovation meets beauty in a way never before seen. Thin, solid, fast, crisp! All qualities that can be found in this stunning phone. I have owned this phone for a year and four months, which is the longest I have ever owned a single phone, and the longest I have ever been on a carrier. I love my Verizon iPhone. I would recommend this phone to anyone!

Pros:
Super Fast
Awesome Picture Quality
Unrivaled Display
Apps, Apps, And More Apps
Great Design
Amazingly Thin

Cons:
Battery Could Be Better

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

I love iPad. Apple should stick to what it's good at; computers and tablets. Android makes a great phone but does not do so well in the tablet department.

Pros: looks nice and sleek.

Cons: not adroid....

stick with droid.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

I have always wanted an iPhone but too much money for me to pay for it for two years. Well I have recently dated and now going out with him :P He bought me an iPhone before we even went on a date and it didn't come in fast enough for him to give it do me on the first date. But I have had it for about two or so weeks.., Well being an avid iPod touch user..., I was used to using it; but I love it so much because it can do a little more than the touch. I wanted something different anyway so I have the white one :)
PROS:
Camera, build quality, typing, operating system, the look & feel, screen, the cases for them, the storage, and the call quality.
CONS:
Battery life could be a little better, the cost for the best apps, the screen protectors always piss me off, I wish it had Siri instead of Voice Control, and I guess that's about it.
Overall I would recommend this phone to anyone!!!

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

My friend had one since 08...and I was like "Noooo...you can't get insurance with them." I've been though my share of Androids (Moment, Hero, EVO, Epic, G2x) and my BlackBerry phones (Curve & Bold), but nothing compares to my iPhone 4!

Pros:
Good camera
Good battery life (unlike Androids)
Lovely Safari browser
The apps
The resolution of the screen
JUST FANTABULOUS!

Cons:
NONE AT ALL...as of now! :)

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

I love Droid phones and Android OS. That being said I switched to the Verizon iPhone 4 for better security and exchange email enhancements. I must say I am completely hooked and impressed by this phone.

Pros

-Call quality and reception are exceptional better than my Droid 1

-Screen navigation is smooth, seamless and the Retina display is beautiful

-Volume for phone calls, music, video, navigation and speakerphone rich sounding and provide ample loudness

-Vibrate is good

Cons

-Most applications come at a higher cost than Android

-Difficult to copy files from an PC or SD card to the iPhone since there is no real filesystem - need to use iBooks for PDFS and a WIFI application for other types of files

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

The software was buggy, slow and made for a kindergartener.

I paired the iPhone against my motorola razr LA INK edition and it failed again!!! The razr held its own and performed better!!!

Then I paired it again my Matrix phone and the iphone dropped 6 out of 10 calls and the matrix phone held its own.

Needless to say DONT BUY this phone. Its the same as 2007 and we are in 2011. Grow up apple!

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

What's wrong with that. I tried many Android phones and while Android is great, too much customization can mess it up. Also the Hardware isn't up to the software and that makes Android suffer. I'll keep old tried and true and use the iphone.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

timmy23 submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 4 (out of 5)

I have owned every iteration of the iPhone since it's inception on AT&T. I didn't like the amount of dropped calls and poor reception areas near where I live (Central Wisconsin). I picked up the VZW iPhone 4 right away at 7am on Feb. 10th of this year, and overall it's the iPhone I know so well. The retina display is nothing short of amazing, the touch screen sensitivity is perfect, and they included every feature an iPhone user would want...except for two.

1) As most of you all know, the CDMA iPhone cannot do simultaneous voice and data...no web browsing, text messaging, etc while on a phone call unless you're on wifi. I can deal with that since I am on a wifi network 95% of my day.

But the second thing I noticed is missing really bothers me.

2) You can't create a conference call with the CDMA iPhone :( I discovered this while I was talking to a friend "John" on the phone, and another friend "Matt" called. Normally, with an AT&T iPhone, I could put John on hold, answer Matt's call, and then merge the two calls into one three-way call. Not possible (even on wifi) with the CDMA iPhone. I haven't tried adding a call yet, but not being able to merge two calls into one is a deal breaker for me.

I plan on ditching Verizon and going back to AT&T when the new iPhone is released (hopefully) this fall.

Not to mention, I will be saving about $55/month on my bill with AT&T. I can deal with dropping a few calls in order to save nearly $700/year on my phone bill.

If you absolutely hate AT&T and will never have them for wireless service, VZW will do just fine if you want an iPhone, but as an AT&T iPhone user for almost 4 years, I need the call merging and simultaneous voice and data features AT&T's network offers.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

Cellular Phone submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

Honestly, I am not new to Apple or iOS. I had the iPod Touchb 4th gen, and the iPad (which I sold along with my precious Casio Ravine on eBay to buy the iPhone). I love iOS for its incredible ease of use, beautiful colorful design, and simplicity.

I decided to get an iPhone because it brings together my cell phone, iPod, and tablet computer into one super device. Having the ability to browse the web over the network is a huge plus. I just lost power this week due to a storm and I had no internet at home and if I still just had my iPad, I would not have been able to watch the radar. But with the Verizon iPhone, I still had a network connection and was able to watch the weather despite having no power for 5 hours.

This phone is great for a smartphone, I love how crisp and clean it is. The phone's connection to Verizon is solid and pretty stable. I have to say I have not had any iPhone issues others have had.

The only con I can think of is the battery drains fast, but if you keep the screen brightness low and try not to be on the web as often, it will last longer.

Overall, the phone is a great performer, and the iPhone has a lot of hype. But to be honest it is kind of over rated as there are other great smartphones out there. It is a great phone, yes, over hyped, but I enjoy this phone and I will keep it.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

addictedtomycellphone submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 4.5 (out of 5)

Ever since the iPhone first released, I have always wanted one. I have had Verizon for years, and didn't want to switch providers, and couldn't, as AT&T did not provide services in South Dakota... Well... here we are, some years later, after counless enV brand phones, Blackberry Storm, Blackberry Curve, and even a Droid Devour and Incredible... and I finally found the closest to perfect phone I have ever had. It is pure amazing and the UI is perfect! It is super super easy to use, type on, etc. If you are deciding between a Droid or an iPhone, choose the iPhone! The battery lasts forever, and the phone overall is amazing.

Pros:
-Texting is super easy
-loud ringtone
-Surfing the web is super fast
-sleek design
-Retina display is amazing
-camera and video camera A+++++
-Tons of Memory
-Charges fast!
-Amount of free apps
-strong signal
-wifi!

Cons:
-no vibrate for text while ringing for call
-annoying swoosh when sending a text
-plays same tone for text during a phone call
-no speed dial. seriously... no speed dial
-no memory card slot

Overall this is an amazing phone. For once, I think I can keep a phone for the full two years!!! The cons are big deals for me, and I am a little disappointed in apple for these. They seem like such easy things to have. Maybe a possible update in the future will fix some of these. Overall, it is a great phone and I would strongly suggest it to anyone who is looking into an easy to use smartphone. The price is a little helfty, but it is totally worth it!

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

Wizeguy submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 2.5 (out of 5)

Great phone if you just want something that has a tried and true method of working as intended out of the box. However, compared to an Android phone it's not nearly as customizable and lacks WIDGETS!!! If you don't know what Widgets are and how the Iphone lacks them, look into those since I found them invaluable and a MUST have.

Also, even though this is the Iphone 4, IT IS NOT 4G it's still 3G and the network speed is very very slow on 3G. Laggy Video streaming from YouTube and other sources, etc.

Music playback is above avg. but still not better then my Ipod and the battery life suffers more when playing music thru my Iphone as opposed to Ipod.

Screen on this phone rocks, it has to be the strongest selling point imo. that and plenty of Apps. keep in mind though Apples apps. on avg. cost MORE then Android apps., even though both markets supply over 150,000 apps each of comparable quality.

PROS
Screen Resolution
Music Playback quality
Construction (even with the reception glitch)
Plenty of Accessories
Plenty of Apps.

CONS
Still just a 3G phone (slow internet speeds)
Screen is smaller then some other smartphones
NO WIDGETS
Minimal Customization when compared to similar Android phones
Apps on Iphones tend to cost MORE then on Android

CONCLUSION

If you just want an out of the box phone that's easy to use and you can live with the slower 3G internet speeds this phone will fit the bill nicely.

If you want a phone that will use 4G technology and will be able to grow and evolve in the next 1-2 years go with a 4G phone like the Thunderbolt or Charge. Plus, you gain much more customization ability on Android.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

ajs253 submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

Awesome hardware and software integration. Hardware, by far the best looking and rock solid build. IOs is simple and responsive. Screen is second to none in clarity and sharpness. Virtual keyboard is super accurate and responsive.

Negatives:

Have to shut down each app at a time.
Need to be able to customize the phone more.

Why I didn't deduct any phones. The phone lacks flash player and is not flexible as far as customizing certain aspects of the phone. But the hardware and software are so advanced that since the release of the iPhone, the market has been chasing the iPhone and not the other way round. It sets new standards that are hard to match.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

jbaliski submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

I Have wanted an iphone since it came out but I did not want to switch to AT&T. A very common story. I was going to wait till the next gen iphone came out, but i am hearing it wont be till at least sept and I could not wait any longer.

Pros:
Quality of the hardware. This phone is a tank. Incredible felt like a toy just like all Android phones I have played with. Lets face it, Apple makes the best Hardware

IOS: So much more simple and it just works. Syncing is better and it has a decent music player. Go figure. I was sick of Androids inability to properly sync with my itunes. Double twist sucked and the Music player apps I tried all sucked. Android is fragmented like you hear all the time. It was constantly crashing out on me and it drove me crazy.

Battery: Much better then incredible

Screen: Awesome. You don't realize it till you actually switch over how much easier it is on the eyes.

Sound: Speakers sound great. Nice and loud.

Call Quality: Nice and loud and strong. No complaints here.

Keyboard- THIS IS HUGE. SOOOOO much more responsive. I do not make nearly as many mistakes with this phone and I actually enjoy texting again. The droids I have used seem to just suck.

Cons: Only thing i would like is for the vibrate to be stronger. But this is true with any phone in the past 4 years or so. They just do not notify you like the older ones used to. I work in loud environments and i miss calls and texts a lot. I suppose the make the smart phones with weaker vibrate to save on battery life.

All in all, I would recommend this phone to anyone unless you feel you need to spend more time on your phone adjusting settings, and looking all over the place in the menu to change things like in Android. I have to admit it is insane how long it took to come to verizon, but it was well worth the wait. I love it. Great phone.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

I can surf the web and talk ,text and talk and do everything ,I'm In NY and have very rare reception problems , I Also have the droid x on Verizon , I like to carry two phone hands Down IPhone is better , who cares if you have an open market if your phone or it's battery life can't handle it . I have the same reception with the both phones , except with the data network AT&T is better wit the droid x , I get so tired of removing battery, resetting phone dialing*228 to reset , I have both networks AT&T and IPhone 4 simply the best especially the network it's fast and reliable.
iPhone is easy to use , not unnecessarily complicated like the droid .
ONLY CONS. Screen size and because I have a ton of stuff I would love a 64gig but that's me and than the last con is AT&T has stupid data plans , I got mine when they still had unlimited. That's the hard decision with verizon you can get unlimited.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

randyalejandro submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

I just recently upgraded to the Iphone 4 and it was the best decision I've made in regards to a cell phone. I previously owned the Motorola Droid X (which I hated), where I had to remove the battery at least 10 a day to resolve some issue at a given moment, and even had the phone replaced 4 times. Since I've gotten the Iphone, the performance has been flawless and smooth and I am so HAPPY with this phone.
Pros:
1. Great call quality and no drop calls (as I hear Iphone users on ATT network experience)
2. Great picture quality for a cell phone, and I love that is has a front facing camera for picture taking (have not tried face time though for video chat though)
3. Good video quality from the videos I've taken.
4. Very responsive touch screen.
5. Media, Music, Text/pic messaging, Email, Web browsing all work flawlessly.
6. Love the selection of apps to choose from.
7. Battery: can get through most of the day with heavy use, and this is more than I could say about the Droid X

Cons:
Cant think of any at this point, have loved everything about it so far.

Bottom Line: This phone is a keeper and I would recommend it to anyone.

P.S. I was informed by the rep that there were no settings to the make the text messaging font larger, that is not true.
For those who want to make the text font larger and don't know how, go to settings = select general = select accessibility = select large text.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

There are a lot of good phones out now but the I phone is the one I like best. I have no issues with mine. Signal is best i have had on any phone. No dropped calls . no app killers. no turning off or pulling battery everyday. I have had many different phones and the I Phone is the best for me.
I just want people to try what you want and don't worry about what others think. I would like to add that I think PhoneScoop does a very fair review.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

I've had this phone for two weeks and overall I am very impressed with the features, voice quality and reliability to maintain a call, and data quality.

PROS:
Solid build
Display
Call quality
WiFi supports fast data speeds
iPhone features/iOS/apps
Integration with other Apple devices
VZ network (no dropped calls)
VZ and Apple technical support.

CONS:
Battery lasts no more than a day with moderate use
WiFi drains battery faster
Speaker phone could be louder
3G data speeds slower than expected in most areas of use
Some voice features not supported (Blocked callers)
No multitasking data/voice on 3G
Included earbuds appear to be lower quality construction and do not provide high quality sound
Battery replacement must be done by authorized service center
No SD.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

JoyLatrice submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 3.5 (out of 5)

I have recently sswitched from a Blackberry Curve and I enjoy the phone. There are a few things I miss but nothing major.I had been comlaining about the battery but I Apple showed me that most of the applications leep running. They told me to close them

1) Double Click your Home Button. All running application will then be visible at the bottom of your screen
2) Press and hold down the button for the running application you wish to close. This will display a red minus sign on the top left of all running applications.
3) Press the red minus sign on the applications that need to be closed.

I did this today and it has increased my battery life by at least 10-15 % for this time of the day. Closing these applications does not prevent you Text Messages and Emails from coming through, either.

Also, there are other ways to save your battery as discused in this article. Here's the link

http://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html

If your emails are you're main concern, stick with Blackberry. It's much easier to type and respond with the QWERTY keyboard. I must say that I have no problem with the time lapse in receiving messages on the iPhone, though. If you are about music and FB and APP, though, the iPhone is the way to go for a person who is business and pleasure. You still get your emails fairly fast and the apps are cool.

I don't really care about GSM and $G right now. I can barely walk and chew gum at the same time so I am certainly not going to talk on the phone and surf the web at the same time. I am satisfied knowing that even if I am on the net, my calls can still come through.

I do have an issue with the fact that it takes forever to download a song through iTunes on the phone, though and sending an audio file through email wasn't as quick as I would've hoped...bottom line is it worked, though.

As with anything, whether or not you'll like this phone depends on your needs. For me, so far, not bad.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

sbuitend submitted this review of the Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

First off, this is not a perfect phone for everyone. If you are an email addict, just stick to a Blackberry. The Blackberry OS stinks, but if you can get beyond battery pulls, then keep on chuggin on a Blackberry.

If you are considering an Android phone, I would suggest at least giving the iPhone a try. I love Google, use google apps, and have tried Android phones. For me, it is no different than Microsoft / Dell versus Android / Motorola / HTC - something is lost when the software is not in-house on small devices.

The deal breaker for Android for me is battery life and lack of applications that are available on all Android phones. I don't want a task killer and have to monitor my wifi to make the battery last more than 6 hours. The iPhone has a great wifi connection system and if the phone is not in use, it will last 1.5 - 2 days on standby (at least), where every Android phone I have owned struggles to get through one day before it dies.

The screen resolution is amazing, you can sync the phone with basically any email account, and many applications will sync with different programs as well. For example, I sync "Awesome Note" to my gmail docs account.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)
