maryinmn submitted this review of the Garmin Asus Garminfone:

Overall rating: 4.5 (out of 5)

I have this handset and love it. The GPS, of course, is the best in the industry but that is not the only thing this phone offers. The camera takes really high-quality photos, some better than higher megapixel cameras on other phones. Personally, I like having the Nuvi icons on the main screen, as it makes things easier for me to do, whether that be making a call, starting the GPS, or using the mapping features.

Like many other Android phones, this handset allows download/installation of tons of apps through the Android Market. One thing that many reviews don't mention is that this handset also has multiple customizable screen pages so each user can make each page uniquely their own by clicking the "Widget" icon.

Overall, I really enjoy using this phone. I love how I now have a phone with a complete GPS solution right in my hand. I love the fact that I have a huge app market at my disposable for me to pick-and-choose which apps to download thereby making my Garminfone my phone. I love this phone and after having the MyTouch Slide, the HD2, the Vibrant, and the Blackberries, I'm finally happy with my choice.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

TMobRulz submitted this review of the Garmin Asus Garminfone:

Overall rating: 4.5 (out of 5)

This is a good phone. Very solidly built. So what if it only has Android 1.6? It does what it needs to do!

Pros: Solid. Great navigation (it should have). Screens have nice response.

Cons: Lack of flash. Would like to have apps on multiple screens, but it is fine...you can arrange apps tray as you see fit.

Mostly...it does what I want, and it's built to last. No, not most recent software, but I am not in competition to get a new phone just to have the newest.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

mjs76 submitted this review of the Garmin Asus Garminfone:

Overall rating: 4.5 (out of 5)

I received my Garminfone from T-Mobile yesterday. After getting everything setup (contacts, media, data, etc) the Garminfone seems like a solid performer. It is very responsive and battery life has been more than adequate. The integrated Garmin GPS software is true to form and exactly what I expected from Garmin.

The only drawback is a lack of flash for the 3 megapixel camera. Not a big deal for me, but it is something to note.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)
