MissBrown submitted this review of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 / 9105:

Overall rating: 4.5 (out of 5)

This is my first PDA phone. Also the first phone I've ever owned with a QWERTY keypad.

Overall, it took some getting used to but after the 3rd day, I was and am still in love.

It's fast. Multi-tasks better than my computer. Offers many basic user-friendly tools. Camera quality is more than adequate and comes with flash. Speaker/Audio is also excellent. I have not purchased any of the available applications thus far, however, I assume they will be of high quality.

No downfalls after one week of ownership.

Love it.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

Irrigationrepair submitted this review of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 / 9105:

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

Touch screens are neat, multiple apps can help, Internet is cool, but these are all candy.
The Pearl 9100 is a GREAT business telephone. The 20 button keypad to dial numbers is well laid out, with a good feel to the buttons. They have an acceptable click when pressed & the center ridge helps to feel your way instead of having to look down and touch to dial, but the trade off is that the QWERTY layout over the normal keys is non-standard. Not too much of a problem until dialing a corp. extension.(press the first 3 letters of the last name.) The normal 2=ABC is now 2=TY in the new scheme. It takes a little getting used to but in the overall arrangement of this powerhouse, the old layout is a small thing to remember.
The slim form allows quick park and retrieval from a concealed, pocket. (Holsters are tacky.) and rubberized edges are molded over assignable “convenience keys”, with media & mute on top. The Pearl's customizable layout has an extensive, help menu.
The 3MP camera produces great 640x480 video as well as 2048x1536 stills with optional very, VERY bright LED flash, & the optical track-pad/mouse-pad is clever in its design, & extremely sensitive.
The brilliant screen's more like a computer showing time date battery level, & tower strength as well as 2G, 3G or EDGE network, irrespective of whether you're placing a call, reviewing the missed list, checking multiple e-mail or text posts.
The connection options allow you to select between Network, BT, or WI-Fi one, two or all, the batt. life is decent depending on demand, & its door, though plastic, has a smart snap closure & thumbnail slot for easy access to the hot swappable micro S/D card. My old phone was a MOTO Z9, so I was happy to see the Pearl fitted with a mini USB charger port & no floppy little doors to fumble with. And yes there's a headphone jack for your ear-buds to enjoy robust media sound.
I am an irrigation repair troubleshooter. My network provider is AT&T, & my phone is the Blackberry Pearl 9100!

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)
