So i got this phone for backup or idk. The phone is awesome. This phones carrier is US CELLULAR. The only reason that it would be a 3.5 is because once and awhile the touch stops. <br /><br />PROS:<br />2.0 camera<br />amazing touchscreen *when it works*<br />onscreen keyboard.<br /><br />This phone is basically an LG Shine but with a full touch screen for the whole top sliding panel. My main issue with the phone is the screen, nothing calibration to the screen won't fix, I just have to do it every time I want to use it. I fell kind of stupid cuase i didnt get insurance. When I went back to altell to buy another one but the lady said that the phone had been dicontinued ( that night I cried myself to sleep HAHAHAHAH) (evil sinsinter laugh).... I have us cellular as a provider and they are no help at all, I sent my phone out to get repaired about 6 weeks ago and i haven't heard from them. I have insurance on it they should have just gave me a new phone! When i was getting a new phone i thought that i would switch it up from my LG wave. Time to go phone shopping! I had a Samsung Delve that i traded in after a week due to poor reception and battery life. Now i have had the Glimmer for only a couple of days, but it is such an awesome phone it deserves a review now! The reception is awesome on this phone and despite the side by side comparisons, i haven't had a problem with the battery life. This phone gives you everything you could ever want you can use the phone exclusively as a touch screen phone, or you can go with a more conventional route and dial with a normal keypad. and you get an awesome slider design. Some people have said that it is hard to text on, but i haven't had a problem with it yet. Even for someone with big fingers, no problems. I'm trading it with someone for a blackberry who's trading the glimmer for 6800. I returned it and got my next Cellular Dream Phone. I am extremely impressed with the Glimmer. It looks sharp, I have no reception problem, extra goodies like wallpapers and ringtones work ‘no problem’ for non-technical users. I adore this phone and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. It costs $200, and yes, that's a lot for a phone, but I felt like spoiling myself. The touch screen capability is very user-friendly, and Body Glove's case for it keeps you from experiencing phone slippage. Everyone is envious of my new Glimmer - I'd say it GLITTERS - even though its color is brushed grey metallic. The phone is stylish and sleek. For us ladies, it fits in your purse without crowding other things out. It even has a protective screen, to reduce scratching and smudges. Buy this phone! I've owned 5 phones in the past 3 years and this phone is my favorite.<br /><br />CONS - Music player quality is not the best in the world<br />Reception compared to my previous Motorolas is no comparison. Clarity with the Motorolas and signal strength was a lot better. I did love the touch screen. Coming from a KRAZR, texting was very easy for me. I couldn't stand the slider, the same problem as with other sliders, the buttons are just to hard to get to (some of them). Thankfully everything can be done from the screen, except for easy edge.<br /><br />Easy edge implementation on this phone was terrible. Having a touch screen does not help one bit here. Everything has to be done via the keypad or arrows to move around. WAP browser was completely missing. Fully functioning bluetooth was awesome. It makes life much easier to put tones and pics on.<br /><br />Now on to sound. This is my biggest complaint. The speaker which is used for a ringer sounds cheep and not very loud. Certain ring tones would make the speaker crack and rattle. I missed countless text due to the incrementing ringer issue this phone has. Phone calls I have missed due to this as well. As I wasn't told there would be a fix, I had to return it. The ringer for phone calls is loud and I do not have the issue of missing calls.
