I would not recommend this phone because of glitches in the programming. The first phone I turned in b/c I had problems with it cutting off. Great call integrity, web &amp; camera is great. However, there are a few issues that need to be addressed: First, the signal strength meter is strictly for the Sprint network and NOT the IDEN nextel, so you never know the strength of your two-way Nextel signal. The only way to tell is if the phone reads "No Wlk/Tlk" or has a check mark next to a phone. <br /><br />Secondly, the phone is rather slippery and difficult to open. The push-open button is hard to reach and is rather awkward. The alarm will not work with the phone in the off mode, nor will it work with the phone in the closed mode. There is no "none" for a ring tone, nor can you set up caller restrictions.<br /><br />The camera and video portion work good. High quality pictures.<br /><br />Ive had this phone for 4 months now. I got my first freeze approximately 2 months ago. I the "BLUE COBRA OF DEATH" TODAY. The phone will lock up and the only fix is to send it in via FED-EX, 3 day turn around (thank god).<br /><br />If i didnt need this style of phone,,,,,Id go get a new one right now. The problem is they only use 1900 CDMA band, where most CDMA phones have 850 and 1900. This causes them to loose voice coverage when 1900 is not available. I will be as fair as I can and state pros and cons about it as far as my opinion is concerned:<br /><br />Pros<br /><br />Great sound from voice and direct connect calls<br /><br />Fast Internet Speed<br /><br />500 message limit for text Inbox and Sent messages<br /><br /><br />Cons<br /><br />Restarts all the time, whether I'm navigating the phone's menus, sending/reading a text, in a phone call, or even if it's just sitting there charging!<br /><br />The menu navigation speed has improved a little, but is still slow and freezes.<br /><br />The predictive text is the worst - For some reason, it still doesn't remember simple names/words that I frequently type. This is my first hybrid phone, and I must say that I am very impressed. The phone coverage and call quality is so much better, and sending/receiving text messages is so much more user friendly. The only problem that I can think of with the phone that there is a bit of a lag if you are trying to search the menus in a hurry, but that is the case with most phones.
