not.so.merry-anymore submitted this review of the Nokia 6275i:

Overall rating: 1 (out of 5)

I've had this phone over a year long and lovED it at first. The pictures where well defined, the sound good. It was also cute and very small. About 3 months after using it, problems started. Phone became blank after I installed the MicroDV memory card. It came to normal again but to be sure I took the card off. Its screen became blank again the next day and reopened when closed for a while. I could not use any function of the phone, no menu was available (so no camera, music, agenda, nor Internet). It was constantly acting this way until I brought it to the shop where I had purchased it, three days later. The employee knew what would happen to it. He told me he had seen this problem with other phones like mine and warned me it would stop working after a while, and so it did that same day. By chance I was still on the guarantee. So I had to wait at least three weeks before I could have it back. Then two weeks before the end of the company guarantee, its`screen became blank but not for good (not until three more weeks...). I thought I still had guarantee time but it was up! So since I know the model has this defect I have in mind to ask advice at the Consumer's Protection Group in Québec. I do not think a camera or phone or computer's normal life span should be of 6 months or even a year, it sells for about 200$ and my phone contract is still not off! I will investigate in that direction and give you an update if possible. Beware of that model, the phone shop where I bought it didn't keep it in store anymore and the salesperson seemed very negative toward the model. I am currently using my old Sanyo that has been much more reliable (for almost 4 years now!...)

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

cindyt submitted this review of the Nokia 6275i:

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

I am very upset with the Nokia 6275I as i have been having the same problem with the phone and it only gets fixed temporarily. the problem is that when you turn the phone on it starts to boot up then eventually turns itself off thus making it useless. It has been fixed many times and the problem just keeps happening. Nokia has refused to give me a new phone because it is out of warranty now, and they are well aware that the I have had problems with this phone from the very beginning. It also takes a very long time to boot up so that you can use the phone. You also cannot enter your own words into the dictionary it assumes/inserts one word for another making your sentences insensible. Nokia wont give me a new phone and they also told me that no one else has had this problem. I have read through many reviews on this phone and have seen that many others have had the same problem. Nokia its not nice to lie to your customers! I also have a personal friend that had had the same problem.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

SpyrosM submitted this review of the Nokia 6275i:

Overall rating: 1.5 (out of 5)

First of all the phone has great reception, clear sound and an screen that is visible even in the daylight. The camera is okay, but it's nothing really to brag about.

Unfortunately my phone has a software glitch that causes it shut off completely. I took it to Bell Mobility two times during the warranty period and they just reload the software but that does not fix the problem!

It happened to me 3 times and I've given up! I'm actually using an old Nokia 6585 which works way better even though it's used.

This product shuttered my confidence on Nokia products and made me wary of cell phone companies and their deceptive warranties which really don't provide as much peace of mind as you might think.

I'll say be very wary of buying this type of phone. At the present time (March 2008), Bell Mobility has put this phone on their "clearance" section of their website. It's a wonderful phone to use, but is it reliable?

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

It has a mp3 player, easy navigation, battery life is ok, 2.0mp camera, and the neat thing is, is that you can listen to your music through a bluetooth ear piece. When you set a specific ringtone for a caller, you hear it in the the bluetooth... My other phones did not do that.

The only thing that really sucks about this phone is the speaker phone and ear piece are not that high of quality but if you have a bluetooth that alleviates that problem.

The thing that is slightly annoying is that when I want to add something to my microSD card I have to take EVERYTHING off... including the battery.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

Mobile Phone Addict submitted this review of the Nokia 6275i:

Overall rating: 4.5 (out of 5)

The Nokia 6275i is a sleek, and an outstanding performance phone that offers many features desired by mobile users. The black keypad and interface along with the steel outlining make this phone look sophisticated, adding to it great style. This phone won't lose popularity anytime soon!

PROS

-MP3 and Media Player
-Bluetooth connectivity
-Infrared Connectivity
-up to 10:00 mins of video recording!
-voice recording
-FM Radio
-Easy to navigate through
-Loudspeaker is excellent and offers good sound quality.
-Lightweight
-World Clock, sophisticated calculator and translator are excellent add-ons.

CONS

-Camera does not take high quality pictures, and the user can expect to see a lot of green shading when used in moderate lighting conditions. It can also make pictures look a little too bright.

Overall, excellent phone with great features! If you're expecting to find a camera phone with excellent picture captivity, just buy a digital camera. Nokia phones are not well known for their picture taking abilities, and I have noticed this on all my Nokia models; 3220, and 6101.

I purchased this phone from Virgin for $169, and think it was definitely worth it! Couldn't expect more from a phone! Good job Nokia on this one!

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

I don't forsee changing phones anytime soon.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

Nevileon submitted this review of the Nokia 6275i:

Overall rating: 3 (out of 5)

Most of the phone's features are quite nice.

I think everybody else has hit most of the major pros and cons.

One concern I have with my phone is that it's not available in the US yet, and thus it is hard to get support on the phone.

I had ALOT of issues using a bluetooth headset with my phone. It pairs alright, but the maximum range of the headset is about 2 feet (meaning you have to set the phone on a table or hold it up -- putting it by your hip or in a pocket causes the reception to get garbled to the point of unusability / dropped signal).

After numerous conversations with Bell and Nokia, and testing many headsets and handsets -- they've stated that the Nokia 6275i is NOT compatible with any bluetooth headset other than a Nokia headset.

So, if you already have your own headset, you may have to purchase another one or face frustration.

This is apparently working as intended, and thus no fix is forthcoming. I thought that I should just share my story with others.

PROS:

* Nice Display
* Excellent Cell Reception (even in my concrete building)

CONS:

* Bluetooth Compatibility
* Phone is sometimes sluggish to react
* Outer plastic casing easy to scratch

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

kokomanis submitted this review of the Nokia 6275i:

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

I live in Asia, so I don't have limitation as fas as phone features curbed by the operator. This is the best Nokia I have ever had. I have had other nokia phones including the GSMs, but by far this is the best there is. Yes the camera sucks at dark but the flash definitely helps. About the flash, please find me any nokia or other phones at this price range that offers flash and 2MP camera. The GPS is just there with not much of a purpose other than telling you where you are with reference to the nearest BTS. The phone includes (YES) 256MB MicroSD which helpful to store images and mp3s. Bluetooth works wonderfully with my Jabra JX10 and I could now listen to my mp3s through it. Screen size is huge with 262K resolution. Basically this is just a complete package at a VERY reasonable price. Those who live in a country with CDMA service, GET THIS PHONE NOW!

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

jha07 submitted this review of the Nokia 6275i:

Overall rating: 5 (out of 5)

I've had this phone for about 2 weeks now.
What I like:
Great reception. This phone sounds better than my landline.
Large screen, bright colors. Pictures I load on the phone looks better than they do on my laptop. Also, I have no problems seeing the display in sunlight.
Bluetooth. I don't have a headset, but I use bluetooth to connect to my computer to load pics, and to sync my contacts and calendar with my laptop.
User interface. This phone is very easy to use. The buttons are layout logically.
Camera. The 2MP camera is quite good. It surpassed my expectations. There is a low light setting that slows the shutter speed down. If you have a steady hand, you can get some decent pictures even in low light.
PCsuite - This program is free to download at the nokia site and as I said earlier, you can sync your contact info and calendar with your computer. In my opinion, this is an extremely useful thing. So much so that I will never buy another phone without this feature.
Battery life. I leave my phone on 24 hrs a day and I'm getting about 4-5 days before I need to recharge. But I don't use the phone that much. The battery does take a few charges to condition it. The first couple charges won't last very long.
What I don't like:
The speakerphone could be a bit louder. I have mine set at max.
Setting MP3 as ringtones are locked out, even though the phone is capable of it. But there are work arounds.
The included ringtones aren't too hot.
The battery cover squeaks. I was able to fix it but putting some electrical tape on the inside of the cover filling the gap between the battery and the cover. No more gap equals no more squeaks.
The phone is a bit on the heavy side.

One thing worth noting. The buttons on the display model that I looked at were very loose and wiggled around. I was worried the real phone would be the same. I was glad to find out this was not the case. The display models must have been damaged when they pulled the guts out of the phone.

(Follow link to rate this review or report it to us as inappropriate.)

Good call quality, nice display, good 2 mega-pixel camera and best User Interface. Nokia is simple the best of the best.
