Great Phone

Mar 27, 2007 by Dream Theatre

The best phone out there. I even found a way to convert and rip dvd movies to a 3g2 or 3gp format and then transfer it to a micro sd memory card and then watch the movie on your phone with screen closed (smaller video) or on the inside (larger screen)

This the best phone I've used to date.

For people that want ONLY a phone, I'd advise you to choose something else, as this is much more than a standard phone. This phone has almost everything a CDMA phone could ask for, and was worth leaving the KRZR for. It's a PDA without the bullshit of a PDA. What exactly do I think of it?:

WEAKNESESS:
How come Verizon can allow full Bluetooth OBEX on this phone? Supwidat?!
It's powered off on me a few times, but nothing to major yet
No other cons at this time.

STRENGTHS:
It's not a Verizon Motorola phone (I love motos, just not w/ Verizon)
This 2MP camera/video is the best I've had so far! I can record up to an hr!
Excellent reception. LG phones are good like that. No dropped calls (except in areas where EVERYONE loses coverage)
I can text regularly or QWERTY style, depending on my mood
Loud music and ringtones.
Not as smudgy as the KRZR is.

Conclusion:
This may be the perfect phone, unless the LG VX9400 can beat it. For now, this is my favorite phone. It puts any other American cell phone to a slow miserable death.

I love it, I had been waiting for my new every two so that I could get this phone. After having company discounts etc. it only came to 100 dollars that itself is a pro. Now here is a nice little list.

Pros:
Great speakers
Easy to use keyboard
Screens look very nice
Menus are better than the basic Verizon menus
Camera is great
Able to set own ringtones
Great size
Very good battery life
After having e815 I have high standards for reception and this phone hasn't lost a call yet
Just about everything about the phone is a pro.

Cons:
Outside screen a little small but all I really use that for is texting when I'm trying to keep it secret from teachers and calling people.
Can't send 2mp pictures but that doesn't really bother me at all.

This phone is overall a great phone and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great phone without getting a smartphone or blackberry or anything along those lines.

Best phone ever owned

I love this phone..

Great speaker phone
Great camera and resolution
Qwerty keyboard makes texting so much easier
very light, not very big either
love the design, people are always asking me why I have my camera next to my ear
this phone has no cons!!

Love it

Lg env is so raw. its price is perfect for its features, i actually thought it would be like 250. it has all the features that the sidekick has except it has a better 2 mega-pixel camera. the env has vcast and pricing and it is also esier to type with. it looks big on the internet but it is small and light. it looks better in person. it has speakers to make it sound as loud as a ipod video. it is the best messaging phone and has the best pricing ever!!!!!!

Great phone, review below me is a moron

Jan 25, 2007 by arrangerguy

Ok, first off the guy who just reviewed this phone below me is a complete moron who shouldnt have a review. First thing first, this phone does play mp3's, i dont know what you are talking about. 2ndly, this phone can take up to a 2 gig micro SD car, not 512mb. I think you should learn your stuff before you post about it. I have had this phone for over a month now and I will list pro's and cons'

Pros;

Call clarity is great
Texting is easy and fast with qwerty
Inside screen is great
MP3 player is great
Stereo bluetooth!
Camera is awesome

Cons;
Only real con is that stereo bluetooth isnt "great"..its 1.2 which is ok...it'd be way better if it had 2.0

I dont even care about the review..I really just wanted to bash on the guy below because he posted a bunch of bs non sense...Learn your phone then come back man

Pretty good

This is a pretty decent phone. Coming from the LG vx8300(a damn good phone) I had high expectations. The positives outweigh the negatives;

Pros;
Qwerty Keyboard is awesome(Even though I'm not a huge texter)
Inside screen's clarity and sharpness is great
I like how the outside screen stays semi lit light listening to music.
2 megapixel camera is sweet...I took pics and uploaded them to a drug store and had them printed out and they are a little better quality than a disposable camera. Overall please with it

Cons;
For some reason my music player is weird..some songs even on the lowest sound setting are so loud it hurts..I'm hoping the new stereo bluetooth headset I ordered with volume control on the headset will fix this.

Overall this phone has met my expectations, and will be happy with this phone until the next big thing hits the shelf.

Fantastic!

Jan 15, 2007 by z4beemerguy

I should start off by saying that I am not a tech freak or one who wants the latest and greatest. I use a cell device for making and receiving calls primarily, and do not need all the bells and whistles that are available on most phones. I recently got into a situation where I have to text message several of my associates on an ongoing basis, and it was time to upgrade my phone, so I took a look at the 9900. I find this phone to be perfect for my needs... great clarity, strong signal acquisition (I live in the Los Angeles area), amazing battery life, and a great size. The keyboard is very user friendly and the speaker phone is wonderful. I do wish, as others have stated, that the speaker phone could be active with the phone closed.

I think that LG has "touched all the bases" with the 9900. I find it to be fantastic.
