Razr V3M

Jun 4, 2008 by ryanbromlow

I have had thing phone for about 1 month and I am in love with this phone! The phone is sharp and nice looking! If you don't have one you need to get one they are the best phones!

Cons:

Text Messaging is very slow.
It is very hard to text and the keys are to close together!

Although all that this is a great phone and anybody owning the Motorola E815 that phone is a defect and DO NOT get it! Other than all the other CONS this is a GREAT PHONE!

The rzr is horrible

Without a doubt this is the worst phone i have ever owned. Unless you are an old grandma that averages 5 txts a year the phone WILL break. i have replaced it multiple times and it has broken every time. My most recent problem is the screen. it is blurring it and moving the screen around. one example, it is cutting the screen in half and everything that should be on top gets moved to the bottom and everything on bottom to the top. Other problems were it wouldn't send txts and i had to get a new one. This is the worst phone ever made and i would strongly recomend that nobody buy it and maybe if we are lucky the phone could get discontinued.

PROS
cool design
CONS
everything else about the phone.
horrible camera
decent buttons
camera is only ok
the whole interface sucks!
it is the worst phone ever save your money and heartache and get a different phone.

Great phone .. ONLY if you have new software

Jan 27, 2008 by jdr30

I'll admit that the early versions of this phone were not too good ... However with software version 01.19.07P this phone is great!!

PROS (New Software)

- Vibrate & Ring at the same time
- Able to change all direction pad buttons
- Can change the internal and external wallpapers seperate.
- Fast menu's
- Good battery life

CONS

- Still cannot change the red bars
- Sometimes you can set ahead of texting if you type fast and have to type slower for the phone to catch up.

I reccomend if you have this phons for Verizon and don't like it you upgrade your software.

This is a great phone!

I don't know why alot of people complain about the RAZR. I think it is a great phone.

I recently got one from my nephew when he upgraded to a newer phone. Anyone who is tech savvy knows you can do alot with this phone. I currently have the V3M on a prepay service and it does everything I want. I flashed to the newest VZW firmware and I now have vibrate AND ring, different wallpapers for inside and outside screens, unlimited video length, free WAP, and I can transfer pics using Bitpim and can load my own ringtones using P2K Commander. Plus, I like the big screen and the size of the phone.

The V3M does everything I want. It's a great phone.

I love this phone, I have had alot of different phones and this is the best one so far.

Pros:
Long battery life, with the extended life battery.
Good colors.
Picture ID when someone calls.
You can have alot of text messages before you have to delete.
You can have 10 people to receive your text (pics., etc.).
Good displays.

Cons:
Bad reception. (Verizon wireless)
The memory chip area you have to take out the battery to put in.
You can only send 1 picture message at a time.
I've seen better cameras on phones.

Looks are deceiving

Had the V3m almost a year, and here's the short version of my experiences:

PRO: Very sexy look.

CONS:
- Verrrryyyyy Slowwww texting
- Veryyyyyy Slowwww maneuvering and response time.
- Slow bootup
- Cannot connect with software to download pictures... Unless you send to others, you will never get your pics out.
- Pics can only be sent to another phone and not email.
- Recently: get a blank screen and have to reboot several times.
- Reboots by itself sometimes and have to reinsert password to get in.

moto a good move-not so much

I went from a Samsung A920-which most people didn't even know about due to it being pulled so fast- but i went from that my V3m- i was sure it was going to be a good move well I've had this phone for about 5 months

Pros- sprint deals wit issues that the phone will or had had
-better put together then thought-it can actually take somewhat of a beating
-the speaker isn't so bad--but the when using it for speaker phone its to loud and rough sounding

Cons-Batt. life-2 hrs on a new batt isn't to well- you can not use the web, or music program for long
-back light a lil' temperamental some times it works sometimes not-txting in a drk area can be fun if you don't know your keys well
-glitches its been through muti-carriers that some of the razrs have had glitches my fav one the whole phone going blank or just locking up-

Thankfully being a former sprint emp i know to keep my insur. on it-and i have used them fully with this phone

so all-in-all if you want something slim-try something else like the LG Muziq

This phone is not to bad. I have this phone as does my mom. My does not work totally like its supposed to. I fell in the river with it in my pocket. I got it to work again but now very often the screen goes white and sometimes there are many lines running through it. My moms tho works great. I have some pros and cons

PROS:
1. Runs smooth. Good reception
2. thin and light.

CONS:
1. Bad placement of memory card slot
2. I bought a music kit....and it didnt work
3. Center button in nav pad is just glued on plastic that falls off
