Cool Fone

Dec 13, 2005 by techilliterate

yea the moto's a pretty good phone in terms of taking pictures, sending messages and all the other simple stuff but i had problems from the point when i switched it on. Firstly my vodaphone live wouldnt work and i had to call vodaphone up several times to fix it! Then i wasted a dollar evry time i connected 2 the internet and i had to disable to vodaphone live but no the multimedia. Then theres this whole thing about saving it to your phone, sim card or memory card. Then theres trying to get the pictures onto your computer where you have to buy a different usb cable to do it! oh and to add to all that i havnt even got to the mp3 player bit but it doesnt matter coz my ipod works better. im no computer freak, i only know the basics so this is a pretty complicated phone for me. It doesnt have infrared, i dont even know what the blue tooth is used for!and somehow ive ended up with evryperson put down in my contacts twice! its still a good phone tho lol

Good, when it actually works.

Jul 11, 2006 by Holly.

I've actually had this phone twice now and it has been defective both times. Both of my phone's downfalls have been that the phone completely shuts down. The outside screen displays normal and appears to be working but it is actually frozen and the inside is as if the phone was turned off. The external display still displaying normally, but frozen, makes it difficult to notice when this actually happens The only way to correct this is if you take the battery out and completely restart. This is after only having the phone a month the first time and a week the second. Other problems I have had is the phone will freeze to a white screen when just browsing through menus and has to be shut off and once my phone vibrated continuously, even when plugged in, until the battery died. I've heard of other people with these same problems, but I've also heard people who have had flawless operation. In summary, my PROs and CONs

PROs:
MP3 player
Good display
Speakerphone quality
Good Signal
Small USB for charging (great for computer charging)
External memory card

CONs:
Light-weight plastic exterior (fragile)
Spontaneous turn off and freezing
Gray scale outer display
Low volume ringtones
Camera good, But not megapixle
No MP3s as ringtones
Low volume regular speaker
Can't change faceplates

Overall, This phone is a great idea but I can't seem to get one that works properly, a problem others seem to be having as well.

transflash memory card

After buying the v360 as a b-day gift for my daughter we tried putting the memory chip in it and found we couldnt even turn the phone on. Take the memory chip out and the phone works perfect.Turns out that the memory section in the phone is faulty, but not to worry, its being repaired by motorola as (priority) and sent back to me.(no cost) Apart from that, WOT A GREAT LITTLE PHONE THIS IS AND SO POPULAR. It turns out if i chose to get a refund and tried to buy another, there are none available, its so popular.Just as well i had it sent back to be repaired as i only paid $99 for it and cant get a new one unless i paid $199. BLESSED .

CONGULAR Moto v360 BEWARE

Jun 12, 2006 by timman544

I have owned this phone for 6 months now and have been tempted to just buy another phone the entire time, but just didn't feel like going through the whole looking for a cell phone process again. Now, I am not bashing on the t-mobile v360 but for CINGULAR IT IS HORRIBLE. It does indeed look great and it does do everything very well EXCEPT the whole part when you actually want to call somebody!

PROS-
-battery life
-overall features
-cameras and video are great
-speaker-phone

CONS-
-RECEPTION RECEPTION RECEPTION....i cant even remember the last time i have had full reception with it.
-the ear-piece volume is SOOO LOW...i cannot hear a thing when i am not in a dead quiet room.

The 1.0 rating is very accurate. I DID NOT GET A PHONE TO USE THE CAMERA OF SPEAKERPHONE. It is to make calls and to actually be able to hear them.

The cons outweigh the pros far too much for this to be a realistic phone choice for any buyer.

I liked it

Pros:
-good reception
-good camera and good options
-good default display and ringtone options
-easy to use with USB port (to download ringtones/backgrounds into it)
-good sound quality
-pretty sturdy and it won't break

Cons:
-somewhat bulky
-front display isnt in color
-no picture ID on front display
-if the front display clock is analog then the clock on the inside display will be too.
-no flash on camera

overall the phone is worth its money. it was perfect for me. the style was simple yet the phone did a good job. love it.

Far exceded my expectations

I purchased this phone over the RAZR because it had the mp3 player. I can say that I am very satisfied. After talking to people who have the RAZR I do not regret it at all!

PROS:
-Reception reception reception! (only phone that will have reception in the hill country near Austin)
-Loud ringer, speaker phone, and volume
-Great mp3 player, its loud (you can buy larger memory cards, up to 1 GB to download movies)
-Durable (dropped it off a 2 story stair case and it still worked, although I can't recommend doing that)
-good battery life (only charge it every 3 day)

The pros far exceeded the cons

CONS:
-didn't like the design at first but it grew on me
-bluetooth disconnects itself randomly a few times, I have a Motorola H500 headset

AWESOME Phone!!!

I love this phone! Very user friendly, great reception and its compact, but not too compact. If you love games, you'll love the screen. Great graphics and one of the biggest screens I've seen on such a small phone. Any feature you could ever want is on this thing! If you're thinking about getting a phone, check this one out. Make sure the store puts it on for you so you can see how awesome this screen is!!

Go Moto!!

I was debating on getting this phone, since I have a razor. But, I'm glad I did. I like that it has a music player, which my razor doesn't. I'm 100% satisfied with this phone. I actually like it better than my razor phone. Motorola has come along way.

Pros:
-Expandable Micro SD Memory
-Great reception and call quality
-Clear sound from speaker
-Ability to make mp3 ringtones
-Stylish and durable
-Bluetooth compatible
-Excellent battery length
-Excellent camera quality (clearest pics I have yet see a camera phone take)

Cons:
-Requires extra software to be able to
sync with PC using USB cable
-No color outside display/pic caller ID
-Headphone jack is 2.5 instead of standard 3.5

I have not used my music player yet, but I am looking forward to seeing how well it works. But For now i am still 100% pleased with this phone
