The RAZR V3 is EXCELLENT .

May 4, 2006 by hawk-01

I've been using motorola flip phones since 1997, very few of them had minor flaws, although, motorola was very quick to correct those minor issues, and their support team is superior to other manufacturers in providing quick customer support .
Recently I acquired the Razr V3 and I found it to be a marvelous piece of technology and a nice little pocket toy .
So many reviews. herein at phonescoop.com, were negatively written by some users who apparently lacked the knowledge on the "how to?" perform certain functions of the phone such as :
- Battery : Initial charge of battery should not be less than 24 hours .
- Camera, is a VGA resolution which is good for a little tiny device, provided your hands do not shake while taking a picture .
- Reception signal is superior to any other phone, but keep in mind that signal strength is dependent on your carrier and the surrounding terrain .
-Flip phone, is the best feature ever, although invented by motorola, gives you the option to end the call by simply closing the flip instead of pushng buttons .
IN RESUME :
PROS : TOO MANY.
CONS : MOTOROLA was suppose to conduct seminar-schools for those of us who can not handle advanced electronic toys .

Ok check this out this is the truth about the Motorola Razr. Well the Black one at least. Now everyone is saying that the Razr has a terrible camera and the phonebook is bad is doesnt have enough memory. Well gess what, the razr was meant to be a PHONE not an ipod or a 5 megapixel digital camera. You see, they made the razr and decided that there was enough room to add some bonus features. So i mean as a phone yea, it is probably the best one made yet. Now on the other features, yea they oucld have some inprovements but the razr is an excellent phone beccause of its looks and the way it has great service. Alot of the people on here are complaining about how there phone glitches and how the battery doesnt work very well. wekk u know wut, this is all from the recall period. i mean if youtook one of thosethat was made now then yea it would be totally better but, motorola did replace all of the glitchy phones so you sholdnt be complaing aobut it when they said that would replce it. So yea i would definitely recommend this phone the razr to any one. ill say it one more time any body!

this phone is horrible! i am stuck with it for the time being. it is all around slow technology! when i get a call it there is literally a 7 second period be for I can pick up my phone. when i open it at first the screen is white for about 3 seconds then the screen pops up and it gives me the option to take the call or reject it and it takes another 4 seconds to register that i clicked answer key! I'm tired of this phone and its slow software.
pro's: looks, and loud ringer.
cons: it doesn't function properly

RAZR PROBLEMS

Mar 13, 2006 by Ron Norman

I bought a new Razr phone in February 2005. I was with ATT at the time so I switched to Cingular and took my new Razr $500.00 phone home. I started having service problem dropping calls and no one could seem to tell me what the problem was other than ATT/Cingular had more towers and better service. In November 2005, my screen went black on the phone. I called Cingular and the first question was Did you break it. Finally they decided to send me a rebuilt phone. Both phone had more dropped calls that my Nokia with ATT. In January 2006 when I dialed a number the phone read out RE_TRY. This went on for 3 hours and a friend of mine with Cingular in the car with me could call anytime. The next day I spoke with three different people and they decided to send me a new card, that was the problem.!!!
I still experienced dropped calls. In February my phone started doing the same thing, RE-TRY. After about 3 hours on the phone with three different people at Cingular, new calls, using my wife's phone the call was dropped again. Cingular did not call back. I returned home and went to the Cingular Factory Store and I was told that there was programing problems with the early RAZR phone. After a long discussion, they decided to replace my phone with a later model RAZR with what they said had better program features. The new phone has still dropped calls as well. Needless to say, my $500.00 phone has not preformed as expected. Also, I now see these phone advertised for $99.00, WOW!!!!! I believe all RAZR customers need a rebate on there on their $500.00 phones. Needless to say I am not a pleased Cingular customer.

Texting

Mar 9, 2006 by girlyyy17

The phone is great except for one major problem: the message inbox is full after 30 texts! I am a massive texter and having to constantly empty my inbox is a huge pain. And the outbox holds twice the amount of the inbox. Is it just my phone? I haven't seen anyone else complaining about this problem. If so, Texters this phone is not for you.

It takes my beating

Mar 8, 2006 by corstink

I've had my Razr since August. I love my phone. I drop mine at least 4 times a day and it still works great. It has great reception where i live. I've never dropped a call with T-mobile. I wish it had a better camera but that's really my only complaint. I recommend to anyone who is having technical issues with there screen to contact there providers customer care as there is an issue with new phones.

Magenta Razr-Tmobile

Feb 5, 2006 by kokolicious26

I switched from Sprint to T-Mobile 3 days ago and I am sooooo happy with their service. Their customer service is great. Anyway, I have the Magenta Razr and I like it. There are I a few things that I think should be changed. #1-I hate the phonebook...Lol. I don't like that you can't have multiple numbers under one name. That is very irritating to me. #2-You can't assign different ringers to your contacts if they are saved on the sim card. Is there a way to save contacts on your phone AND sim card? If there is way to do that, please let me know. #3-Motorola has software that you have to PURCHASE to download new themes...that sucks. Other than that, the phone is okay. I love the bright color. That is the main reason I purchased the phone. :-)

Motorola Razor in Black- Cingular

Jan 19, 2006 by ls1848

I have had this phone for about 4 months. I think it sucks. I paid $200 for it. It is the most delicate phone I have ever owned. I am not rough, but it should be able to with stand a simple drop. The first drop was from about chest high. The screen started freezing up and the phone would turn off on its own. I had to send it to Motorola twice and they finally sent me a brand new one. The new one now is falling apart. The liitle silver part on the side just came out one day. This thing is important because it holds the flip on. I will never buy another Motorola phone again. Too much money and not nearly enough quality.

Pros- Looks cool.
Bluetooth
Big Screen
Lots of memory

Cons- Very fragile
Hard to hear people
Speakerphone sucks- Hard to hear
Ringtones suck.
Too expensive
Piece of Crap

Carrier- Cingular, City- San Antonio, TX.
