Solid Phone but not the Best for Your Buck

Nov 30, 2004 by verymoody

Pros- speaker
exterior color caller id

Cons- The txt messaging has been horrible for me. i don't know if its sprint or the phone. sometimes it takes an hour for someone to get my message (if it even gets there). the other weird thing is that i have to dial the persons number to send them a message, it wont send the txt if i try sending it from the phone book. thats a new one I'm sure. but I'm not joking. it took me a while to figure that one out.

the only real advantage i see this phone has is the speaker. who needs ready-link when you got pcs2pcs. its got a nice camera but nothing else special.

id recommend the samsung 680 over this phone any day

The Best!

Oct 12, 2004 by Bobbyz

This phone is the best I've ever had! It has cool metallic colors, and it has flash. It's reception is kind of bad but the cool stuff it has makes up for it.

Flashlight

Aug 16, 2005 by sscott020

This is a great phone, but I am trying to figure out how to make the flash light work on it. Last time I got on here there was a posting about how it works. It works with the flash for the camera, does anyone know how this works?

Terrible speaker issue

Oct 30, 2004 by bigmike825

Although initially I LOVED this phone today I am simply beside myself ! For those of us that paid the "FULL SHOT" for this hi tec lemon I feel VERY badly ! This phone will give you wonderful service for a while but them watch out!!!! Its speaker WILL blow and from there on it will be a circus !!!! Sprint will tell you it is NOT a known issue although EVERY Sprint store within 200 miles of the one I DID business with were out of speakers and when asked why they tell you they cannot answer your question(s) sorry !
They also will NOT replace or loan you one until they can fix yours either so your account is useless to you as you can no longer hear the phone ring and you hear very little else when you use it ! My speaker went as you can tell but so did my fathers, sisters ( twice) her boyfriends also went and her ex-husbands also blew ALL within 6 months of new ! ( One took 9 months but still !!!) If one has insurance WILL replace it at a cost of 50.00 ( which I assume is about what it costs them wholesale with a few dollars added on for their trouble ! ( that's sprint) it is the old "Make them pay for it without them knowing " ! because you got the phone on "special " for as little as 50.00 only strengthens my belief that the phone only costs Sprint 50.00 or so to start with ! LOL ... " NOTHING IS FOR FREE!!! not even the free phone replacement from insurance LOL ! ! ! Oh well I do not think it will stop now unless everyone gave up their cell phones which is not likely however it would help IF people boycotted sprint ??? That IS a possability ??? Have a good day all and to spring #$@###@!!#@#$%$# YOU ! Mike
