Very satisfied with phone

Jul 28, 2004 by newguy

I've had this phone for a month now and I am very satisfied with it so far.
Pros:
build quality is great.
camera is decent.
can use other LG software to upload pictures and download contacts.
like style and design.
Cons:
memory is partitioned, so can't store too many photos on phone.
Overall a great phone. Haven't run into an major problems so far.

My 2 Cents

Ive owned the LG L1200 for about 1 week now, and I am very pleased with the phone over all. As a side note, if it makes any difference to you, my last phone was the Nokia 3300.

Some key "pro's" about this phone are: (1) It looks nice, clean, and sleek. (2) There are good graphics for the wallpaper designs. I make my own wallpaper using Adobe Photo Shop & Uploading through 3gupload.com, and I was surprised at the clarity when it reached my phone. (3) User Friendly. (4) The AOL Instant Messenger Program is installed into the phone (impressed because I never had that on my Nokia).

Some key "con's" I have noticed: (1) There is no Flash for the camera (2) Cannot set individual ring tones for people, only by group. (3) To have Picture ID you must take the picture in 48x68 (or something) resolution only.

All in All, I am more then satisfied.
Hope I've been helpful to somebody.

I just got this phone a few days ago from Best Buy as an upgrade to my Sony Ericsson T226. This is my first flip and I absolutely love it. So here's the scoop....
Pros:
Good, solid, not flimsy
Big external display that you can read
Blue back light
Large, flat keys that are easy to push and navigate
One side key to operate camera (makes it easier to take pictures
Two side keys for volume control while flip is open, while closed you can check the date and the bottom key will also put the phone on vibrate
Camera takes good photos
adjust lighting on camera when taking pictures
Gorgeous display
Nice ring tones that increase in loudness as the phone keeps ringing
There are 20 ring tones, half are which sound like xylophone bells, which sound very pretty
Good battery life even while using the camera
Cons:
Photo and Ringer ID done by groups only, however if you have multiple numbers for one person you can group those together (I don't really mind, but I know others will)
Wish it came with more wallpapers
No color on external caller ID (only icons can be shown)

All in all, there is much more good than bad about this phone and I would highly recommend if for females, more so than males.

Got the LG L1200 and so far found no cons yet. The only one disapointing factor is that it doesn't have a speakerphone. Overall the phone is great!!!!!

Needs to be replaced every 4 months!!!

Okay I have to say a few thing about may phone.

PRO's: At first everything seems cool. Its a good looking phone and the screen is big an clear and I don't think camera's too bad. Menu's not too too bad and I've gotten ok reception

CON's: On the other hand. Dear jeezus don't get this phone. I got this phone and it would hang up on me, not ring and just go to voice mail and the internet would connect without powercycling it. I didn't think much of it unltil it got worse over 4 months and called. They sent me a replacement. Then the replacement's camera was green then fixed itself. Now the camera button on the side doesn't work and I'm tired of it. Its been about 4 months again. I call and demanded a new phone and they're sending me a Sony Ericson Z500a, god I hope its better.

I like Cingular but do not buy this phone!
