Mis-represented by T-Mobile Product details for Siemens CF62T (also phone Scoop's detail)..Sent it back, Pronto!

Sep 14, 2005 by carromill

I'm legally blind.. the "Voice Activated" functions is one of my personal greatest necessities ie; Voice dialing & a few commands!. T-mobile's Siemens CF62T available in the Pay-as-you-go Plan does not have one degree of "voice capable" as described on THEIR OWN WEB SITE product detail pop-up, other than talking via speaker phone or leaving a "voice memo" on T-mobile's "Voice-Mail" box.. I have sent it back and advised Web-masters/product marketers about obvious descreptancy.... Staying with T-Mobile 1 year GOLD REWARDS (pay-as-you-go) plan 'cause it's un-beatable, but bought the more credibly "documented" motorola V330 for twice the cost!!!! the Price difference in this case does not nescessarily correlate to "you get what you paid for", because I didn't get what I PAID for!

homosexual

This was the most homosexual phone I have ever had in my entire life.
First of all, it just feels cheap. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Which is why its so cheap, becuase its cheaply made.
After about 2 months, this phone started shutting off and I could not dial or recieve calls. And I wasn't the only person that this has happened to.
I don't know why this phone has gotten 5 stars- it sucks.

don't let the look fool you!

this is an inexpensive fn that I fell in love with @ first sight. But then I start using it. The fn always say "please wait" and I'd wait and wait and wait. then like an hour later the fn would still be saying "please wait". It could be because I dropped it like a million times, but it was so light in weight and so small, I couldn't hold on to it. Before it was dropped, I have to say it was a pretty good working fn (accept for the games that never wanted to come up). The color was excellent and so was the speakerphone

Low Price, Small Size, Bad Contrast

I bought two of these phones because they were cheap and small.

I love the size, look, and having a speaker phone. But I hate the poor LCD. It's almost impossible to see the LCD in sunlight or even daylight.

Nothing Great

Just got this phone for my wife and honestly the phone ain't all that.

Pros
1 Small and nice looking
2 Speaker option
3 Tri band GSM
4 Internal antenna
5 Color

Cons
1 The volume is horrible
2 Speaker volume is low and speaker option doesn't work when phone is closed
3 16 cords poly ringtones (sounds dead)
4 Not heavy enough (feel like a toy)
5 Don't know why it has a handle bar on top
6 Optional camera
