Back in the day I used to carry this phone. By back in the day I mean 6 years ago. This phone kinda reminds me of the phone I adore so much today, my motorola razr. At 45$ i get unlimited minutes and texting and its all on the Verizon network. Straight talk wireless is pretty sweet.
Fairly Pleased... Many Features Better Than Moto. T720GSM
This phone was brought into my store b/c it would not charge. So instead of throwing it into the parts bin i took it home and worked on it. Turned out ?somehow? the 5 soldering welds on the charger broke off (due to some sort of misuse by the original owner) so i soldered it back together and started using it.
Ever since i soldered it everything works fine on it.
Pros: Never dropped a call on me, !always! has better reception than my Moto. T720GSM, nicer color screen, cooler ring tones, nice alarm, nice external display, sleek design and very comparable to the higher class clamshell designed phones.
Cons: Screen could be larger, buttons could be more distinct (although this adds to the phone being sleek), some features could be added such as things the Motorola phones have. Distinct outbox, inbox, phonebook including feats. such as numbers saved to the phone in categories (mobile, work, home, main etc.) overall more customizable features would be nice.
Overall nice phone with plenty of features and a nice entry-level design.
Poor Construction
This little phone is quite light weight and has a smart look and feel to it. The ringtones are cool. Unfortunately the construction just seems to be poor at best. The flip scratched the screen and there was some intermittent trouble with charging. Also if you live in a low coverage area this phone just won't do. People never had trouble reaching me on a Nokia 6800 or a Motorola V400...many people reported calls going straight into voicemail with the M551. I received no missed call notification and many times no voicemail notification even with ample signal. Sendo may need to go back to the drawing board.

this phone is dope with its sleek design and lightweight construction and it gets great reception where im at and no problems yet
