Not what i wanted

Carrier: Metro

I was in desperate need of a phone, and this was one on sale at Metro for $29. Now my options was this phone or another without a front camera...and living in this 21st century I need my selfies, therefore I got this one..the camera isn't great, it does not focus on and it pretty blurry. however I've lasted almost 6 months with the phone because it is a slow phone, but with the use of wifi it gets a bit quicker, and I'm still capable of calling and texting with no issue.

Not a good phone

Carrier: Metro

I have not had a very positive experience with this phone. It doesn't hold an internet signal very often. When it does, it still takes at least 5 minutes to load the page. Then it randomly jumps to a different page while you're reading. The apps keep freezing up. It is extremely frustrating. If you are looking to buy a phone solely for the purpose of making calls or texting, this is your phone. If you want to be able to check email, get on facebook, etc, this is not the one for you. (My carrier is Metro PCS in the Detroit, MI area.)

Not bad of a phone

Carrier: T-Mobile

Phone itself is decent for mid level android users. Screen itself has strange luminescence to it like a 3D affect. Battery isn't the best as long as properly manage ie. Brightness etc. Overall its not bad speaker is horrible for calls. Comes in muffled and crackly. Camera is OK if object isn't moving other than that it is very blurry

Alcatel Fierce Screen and phone freezes up!

Feb 22, 2014 by 4711Pebbles   updated Feb 22, 2014

If your lucky to get to 3 months with this phone get ready. The screen freezes being unable to shut it off and you cant take the battery out without voiding the warranty which may solve the issue. It wont respond at all. Some say let your phone run out of charge and it may restart. Well if you want to hang on to your phone unable to use it for 3 weeks meanwhile paying the monthly bill and hoping it works next month (while borrowing everyone else's phone), its not my idea of a smart phone investment. If you were not careful it would disconnect you while speaking to someone if you pressed your ear to hard against the phone trying to hear better in louder areas. Let's not forget the one touch my ... Besides these three issues I was ok with the $150-$170 phone. It was an upgrade and worked well for the price at first but it should have lasted more than 3 months. I will never buy a phone again that I cannot just take the battery out to reset it. Not sure it is worth sending back waiting 2 weeks to get a new one of the same phone. Some have gone through this same experience more than once. The pictures are blurry, sound is not great.
I regret buying this phone.
