Best phone i've ever had

Nov 14, 2003 by brewsK

Dope phone, small, light, and easy to use...camera is great too.

Wouldn't buy it again, if I had it to do over

This phone is okay, but I'd choose another if I had it to do over.

Pros:
- Small, comfortable
- Fairly easy to learn

Cons:
- Can't see the face in the daytime
- Loses time, I have to reset it
- Earphone jack does not accept standard plugs -- This would have been a deal breaker had I known. Even with an adapter, there's always a buzz. And the headset they give you with it is just a crappy earbud. It's useless.

Questionable
Reception:
-- I'm not sure if this is the phone or the T-Mobile service, but I'm always dropping calls or breaking up.
Antenna:
-- It's internal. I wouldn't buy this again. I don't know if it has anything to do with the poor reception or not, but I know that when I had an antenna that I could extend, (on a different service) it was always a help.

I like the feel of this phone, but I'm sure there are better clamshells out there. I would not recommend it.

No Good

If anyone think own this E715, don't own it. Because it had a problem with internal display, the color will fade away its almost white very hard to see.

Great size camera phone

This phone is pretty and slick! It can store up to 200 pictures. It has a Flash & Flash light as well. I can adjust the contrast and zoom in and out. Definetly a 5-Star overall rating.

NOT A GOOD PHONE

Used it for two weeks and had nothing but trouble. The phone has poor reception, battery does not hold the charge, a lot of dropped calls.

Great Phone

The only real complaint I have with this phone is the menu, I wish samsung would have made it different than the last 4 phones.
It has an awesome battery life, as usual a great color screen, nice outer display, user friendly menu, very reliable as with most of their past phones, and all around good looking phone.

the best phone ever

i upgraded my v205 to e715 and am very happy with it so far. actually, e715 is almost the same phone as v205 with some rearrangements. its outer design is unusual, i like it very much. buttons are so easy to press, the menu is user friendly. anyway, there're lots of positive things to talk about. all i can say is it's super cool.

DOPE PHONE

I recently upgraded my Motorola T722i to Samsung E715 and am so amazed how much better it is. I'm very disappointed with Motorola phones (all of them!). Almost everything is so bad about them. I've never tried any of Samsung phones until now.

- Speaker volume is so powerful 5/5
- Cosmetics-wise, it's perfect 5/5
- Menu is user friendly but a bit slow 4.5/5
- Reception is super 5/5
- Price is a bit high 4/5
- Works well with 3GUpload.com 5/5
- Battery life is very good 5/5
- LCD is so brisk and bright 5/5
- Games? I don't play them 5/5
- Comfortable to hold and carry 5/5
- Intenna? The only thing I don't like about it 0/5

i went thru many samsung phone models and i think that this one is so far the best one. the only thing that's lacking is speakerphone. oh well, i can live without it. the outer design is so unusual and attractive. i love it.
