Great Product! Continued

Apr 24, 2014 by Chase_17

The major selling point of this phone for me was the screen. The size and picture quality are outstanding. The screen is leaps and bounds ahead of any other phone screen that I have ever seen. Screen brightness is excellent even in direct sunlight. It is like having a portable TV in your pocket. However, as I mentioned earlier, the big screen comes at a price. The battery goes down pretty quickly when the screen is on, especially if the “auto” screen brightness setting is selected. You will save a lot of battery if you manually control the screen brightness. By manually controlling the screen brightness and only increasing it as needed I can consistently get a full day of use on only one charge.
There are many other great benefits and features of this phone as well. The 4G LTE is blazing fast and makes things like surfing the internet, checking email, and downloading data a breeze. The interface is very well laid out and easy to use. Voice quality is good and the oversized screen makes texting easy with the large buttons. The Google Play Store is full of games, movies, TV shows, music, books, periodicals, and apps that allow you to tailor the capabilities of the phone to fit your needs. Physical appearance and quality of this phone are excellent. For a phone with such a large screen it is very lightweight and fits well in your hand. I would recommend a case that protects the screen well as it goes from edge to edge of the phone and has no real protection in the event that it is dropped.
Overall, I would give the phone a solid five star rating. The only minor complaint that I have is the subpar battery life. Beyond that the phone is great. It is a high quality phone that has limitless potential and expandability. I definitely recommend it.

love the phone...camera...not so much

I have had the phone a little over a month. I absolutely love it. the size is great. I do watch a lot of videos. So that was a big thing for me. HOWEVER, I went to a concert last week and tried taking pictures with it. We weren't all that close, but we weren't way back either. The pictures were terrible. It takes pretty good pictures in the light, but the pictures still look pretty dim. But I was not at all impressed with the camera. The battery also doesn't last very long either. I am having to charge it atleast 2 to 3 times a day. Other than that I absolutely love the phone.

Great Alternative to Galaxy Note!

Oct 16, 2013 by splatmouse   updated Oct 27, 2013

So I have had this phone for a while now and I really enjoy it. The 1080p screen allows me to watch streaming movies and videos like they are on TV. The Verizon 4G is crazy fast. I was a little weary due to the lack of SD drive and battery. I have found an overnight charge handles my being on it all day with ease. Also, you get 25G to use. I found that by adding Google Drive for pictures that added another 15G. Phone speed is a little faster than my old Galaxy S3. Camera is just as good as the S3 as well. I haven't found anything that this phone can't do compared to the S3. I've heard several bad things about LG, but I think this may be an exception to that. Its a solid build with tough glass. I could do away with some of the Verizon apps if I rooted it, but I don't want to risk bricking the phone. However, the fact that it's 4.0.1 Android kind of makes me want to. lol. All in all it's a great phone. Not to mention its FREE on a 2 contract!

Love this Phone

This is a great phone. The screen size is amazing for watching movies and reading documents. A couple of the Cons are that the battery is not removable and there is no SD slot. It does come with 32GB of internal memory which is good though.
