Samsung is coasting downhill

Aug 23, 2012 by TheDudeAbides

The Comment is only capable of 1x service, so you can't pull up youtube, and minimal Internet usage is difficult. The keyboard got stiffer and stiffer, finally my phone fried and would start to power up but wouldn't go to the homescreen. Thus making it a battery draining brick. I warrantied it out, the very first time I turned off and on the replacement phone it did the same thing- now it is also just a lit up brick.
I had a Samsung for 3 years, and wanted another samsung, it was my go to brand to recommend to customers. But after this, and my roomate who works in warranty stating Samsung is the #1 brand he has to warranty out, I can't help their quality has plummited, and I won't be reccomending them to custys anymore

R380/ Freeform3

The Freeform trilogy has produced 3 decent QWERTY messaging phones.
The first one R350,51, and 55 were well put together with a mediocre screen.
The second R360 QVGA screen(nice resolution) but cramped keyboard and smaller.
The third(and hopefully final) R380, Nice QVGA larger screen, all ports located outside the phone(convenient) rounder form-factor, bigger ridged keyboard. Lacks solid construction. Slippery back cover which is nearly paper thin (can crack easily), get a clip on shell.
Otherwise an excellent messaging phone with above par call quality.

A winner and a keeper

Just bought this today and I must say that it was a wise choice.
I love the fact that syncs with not only my email, but with Facebook,Twitter, Myspace and all the popular instant messengers just like a crackberry without the crackberry price.
Reception is decent around the region (S.F. Bay Area.)

Paid $49.00 for the phone and $50 for the service.

Pro's: 1) Social Media link
2) Everything else

Con's: Got none
