Sweet Phone!
I am a huge fan of the EnV's and when this phone came out I just had to have it. I love the bigger screen on the outside and the look of the phone. I'm not having an echo problem like it seems a lot of people are, but I update my roaming capabilities once a month by dialing *228 and pressing option 2. At first, I didn't like how the phone never shown that a text message was sent, then I discovered you need to go into message settings and turn the delivery receipt on. :) Other than that, this is the best phone I've had yet!
Added Improvements
Upon playing with the device I noticed several improvements. The front screen is much larger than it's predecessor (the env3) You can also text over 160 characters on the front without having to open the device.
Another cool feature deals with the security of the device. The phone can automatically lock not only the keypad, but also the device itself (after a short amount of time.) This requires you to enter a security code to get back into the phone. I like this feature so that if you misplace your phone, no one can go through your text messages or personal information since it has been automatically locked.
The keyboard on the inside has quieter buttons and are more pleasant to type on I feel. Battery life is also much better.
Glad to see that this device has improved - with the ergonomics and the features.
Not a great Phone
I checked this phone out at a VZW store and I tell you it really felt cheap. If this is supposed to be an ENV3 replacement, Verizon and LG missed the mark. You can get a lot better phone for $99
