Nokia 3560 great phone

Aug 4, 2003 by Thomas Letellier

Great phone for tdma service reception is more than honest i love the voice memo that can remind you just like an alarm to not forget a birthday or important meeting. Just one little thing what happened to infrared for this phone. Also it is impossible to look for the same original case from what i hear this is only a case that was made directly with the phone but you cannot find it anywhere.. Overall, i would recommend this phone to anyone

The Keys are all aginst me !

This phone started out very good but soon turned bad. I know quite a few people who have bought the phone and we all have the same problem. The number keys quit working. For myself it was the 6, for another the 3 and still another the 9 so the right side of the phone is cursed. Now the phone is not accepting calls and not receiving signal in places where other phones with the same carrier has 100 % signal.

Great Phone

I think that this phone with At&t digital service is a 10 in my book. I live in N.J and get a signal everywhere I go, never had never had a problem and cannot complain. This phone does not have all the gadgets but what is a phone for to make and receive calls !

Everyone keeps bashing At&t about there service. The service is perfect here in N.J I travel with my job and last year I was in St. Thomas and was using my cell Phone to call N.Y. It is not that At&t is bad G.s.m is a new network which from looking around at reviews here alot of people have. It is a small network and it is growing rapidly. When Cingular takes over ( It already did in several markets Which is why the commercials say double your coverage ) it will be better still not 100% like digital service but better.

Hope I helped someone.

Here I Go

OK, I've been with Verizon, Sprint and now I'm here. I've had Lg, Motorola (don't like them) Sanyo, and now Nokia. This phone is not a clear as my Sanyo 8100, but I can see it very clearly. Verizon and Sprint carriers in my area (757) are good, but i dropped calls all the time. This is why I switched. My current carrier, AT&T... No dropped calls at all. The phone is nice and small, and the sound is good. It could use some better ring tones, but one can download them. It was easy to set up, and the navigation keys are easy to use. If I were to suggest a phone to get. I'd say buy one. The price is right. My Sanyo I had cost me 3 times and I returned it 2 times before I got one that worked. The battery talk time is a great plus. At 6.5 hours it's kinda hard to beat. Phone book navigation is another plus. hit search and just type the 1st letter of the name and there it is. bottom line. BUY IT, it's a nice phone.

Downloading ringtones

Calling AT&T they would tell you that the phone doesn't support the downloadable ring tones... in other words what they are saying is that they don't have the tools necessary to support it.... why would Nokia have a folder in the phone for downloaded ring tones??? Guess none of their geniuses were able to figure that out... My cousin has that phone, and she has ring tones that she did download on her phone... Never accept the first you get in regards to the phone when it's obvious in the menu options that it's not possible.
You can download ring tones through a 3rd party site, we used www.2thumbswap.com and got many ring tones to the phone..

The only complaint I really have is that the battery life is poor. I will charge the phone fully, and it will die within 12-14 hours, even on standby. I am also not happy with the fact that downloadable polyphonic ringtones are available exclusively via wireless web. Other than that, I love the phone!

The screen is large and bright, easy to see in most lighting conditions. The keypad's contemporary design belies superb usablity. It's easy to touch your way through them without looking and without errors. One thing I miss is a side button for volume or other settings The nokia interface is largely unchanged, which makes this phone instantly familiar to previous owners.

This is nice phone if you live in a market that is long way from a gsm upgrade, otherwise its probably not worth the extra time it adds onto your contract.

Disappointed!!!!

I am getting rid of this phone. I have had two of them and both have broken down on me. The first was a disaster from the get-go. Whenever I answered a call mid-ring, the sound would come out of the microphone!!???? Very unnerving. The second did this but not nearly as often but now the 6 won't work on it. Also, the menu has a delay of about 1/2 sec when the buttons are pushed that really is annoying. The coverage was fine but it never really worked right. Hoping to have better luck with the 6200.

CONS:
1.No aim
2.No camera
3.No MP3 music tones
