its not worth it
i thought the phone was goen to be a real upgrade but it more like the same software and with one or two thing that the phone is able to do that the first ocean was not able to do. to me this is the reason why helio has goen under if virgin mobile doesnt pick up the slack that helio is known for they too will go under as well. your better off goen to a major wireless carrier.
somethings wrong with the oceans
ive had 2 ocean 1's, and 2 ocean 2's, and all 4 of them have broke on me. ive had software issues with them where the phone would power down randomly and id have to take out the battery and put it back in again just to turn it on. it was a daily thing. and i can probably do about 3 hours tops of messing around with it, before the battery dies.
other than all the problems, its a great phone that has a good camera, awesome internet, all the messengers, and a cool keypad. i just wish they would put more thought into the glitches to have them fixed before releasing the new model.

helio has let me down! i have stuck w/helio, i have talked friends into taking the service just to watch them leave. the whole time, i stood by them and pointed out all the features they had. i got my first ocean, and even with the minor flaws like no mp3 ringtones, i stood by and said just wait...
virgin purchased them and i heard talk of a new phone. i was excited, then i saw it, the ocean 2. wow, the just threw the same hardware at me w/a new paint job. great. same camera, except this one has no flash. memory card, under the battery now. yeah, the ocean was nice, but in this day and age there has to be upgrades. they didn't even try. i'm embarrassed, it was a good phone, the first time it came out, next time i wish they would just pistol whip me and take $200 from my wallet, i would feel less cheated!
i will be returning it and going somewhere else.

I have been with Helio thru thick and thin. Not always a happy camper.so I got my o2 today,,beautiful...you want an iphone,,go get one,,but for those who have stuck with helio,,our time has come,,sleek design,,no bigger than the iphone or sidekick,, beautiful screen, fast 3g speed....overall great job Helio Pantech!
so far I can say I love the new design,,camera is better,,keypad is great! Maybe a few more options on the software..
Gonna be alot of opinions on this ocean 2,,but decide for yourself..is it worth a 2 yr contract? yes I thinks so..
I will post more later!! But do know since the merger..cs has gotten better at Helio!!
