Lousy

Sep 3, 2009 by lynxi

Drops calls ALL THE TIME. I can count on one hand the times a call has gone through on the first try. This is my 2nd Net10 phone and I have never been soo dissatisfied. Before this Net10 worked quite well in my area. Thought it might be a lemon so Net10 sent me another one. When they transferred it to me they somehow lost my phone number in the process and they were not able to get it back. I've had that number for 5 years so that was a bit of a problem but not nearly as big a problem as continually dropping calls. Usually drops before or right as it connects so I'll be sitting with the phone to my ear like an idiot waiting for a ring that never comes. Everything else about this phone is pretty good but it's a PHONE and should be used as one, which is impossible when it won't make calls. Now that it's been out a while others are making the same complaint so be forewarned.

WORTHLESS ON TRACFONE

Jul 29, 2009 by raysouth

Will not receive as well as my previous Nokia 2126.
Battery life is terrible. Loses power, even when it is turned off!
Need to carry a portable charger with you to keep this phone powered up. Receiver is very poor and not able to use in many areas that the Nokia never failed in. Same number/prefix so problem is in the phone. Set to answer call when I open flip but does not function and have to press another key to accept a call. Overall, this phone is worthless, for my activities. Would not advise purchase of this unit for any reason.
A total waste, as far as I am concerned.

Great phone, keeps getting better

I bought this phone as an upgrade from my Motorola W376g. It terms of comparison, my new LG 600g out performs on reception and bluetooth connectivity. My old W376g, you had to reboot your phone from time to time just to get your bluetooth connected. Perhaps it is an older version of bluetooth.

Pros:

1. External display that shows date & time
2. Great reception
3. Superior bluetooth connectivity
4. Layout buttons are easier to dial
5. Clamshell design protects the phone from
elements.
6. Great battery life than my old W376g
7. You can take pictures without opening up
your phone.

Cons:

1. Only 2 lousy games
2. Ringtones selections stinks
3. Turning on speaker phone is awkward by
pressing option and #1 during calls
instead of simple one touch button
4. You have to be absolutely still to take
pictures. Otherwise it's very blurry

Like it very much

LG600 - Not Happy

Jan 7, 2009 by MegaWhy

I bought this phone to replace the lower level LG300. I loved the features on the phone, the phone book capacity, and the blue tooth capability.

The phone call quality was the worst of any phone I have ever owned. It would drop calls consistently and sometimes connect and there was no sound.

The phone was nicely compact, the keys were very well designed. The displays were good. Overall functionality was good.

Pros
Features
Blue Tooth
Phone Book Capacity
Key design
Size of Phone

Cons
Call quality was TERRIBLE (I hope it was just the phone I had and not all LG600)
Calls dropped
Reception was poor
Phone Scratched easily

Overall I can only give this phone a 1.5 because, if a phone's call quality is so poor what good is it? I recommend NOT buying this phone, based on my experience with it.

Excellent pre-pay phone. Only problem that I was able to find was the generic "klinky" sounding ringtones and when the ringtone is set on highest volume, it does ring low. Even when presetting the ring volume on highest level, it does not help. Everything else is fine.
