Pretty Nice Phone!

Jan 26, 2003 by Jflo flo

The Nokia 6370 is a feature-rich phone. While including classic Nokia features such as the alarm with snooze, this phone also adds a huge screen, ringer Id's, the profiles, 5 games, vibrate when ringing, and infared voice dialing. If switching from a 5100, the navigation can be pretty hard, since there are 2 soft keys, but soon it will be easier to control. The phone rings pretty loud. Although Cricket has the web disabled on the phone(which you will see in the manual), so if web is something you need, do not go with Cricket. The phone is kind of ugly, but even though there isn't faceplates, they still make them, like with the Kyocera 2235. This is a very good, dependable phone, and is definitely a good choice to go with.

Varying quality

My sisters each have one of these phones, yet one has been fragile while the other is a rock. One phone was dropped about 3 feet the first day and the display cracked in 3 places. The phone still works, but no display. The other phone has fallen off the top of a car backing out, been dropped numerous times over the last few months, sat on, etc, but only minor scratches.

Correction on Faceplates

Just a correction on the availability of faceplates for this phone: I'm a manager of two stores for Wireless Dimensions and I sell mayb 30 faceplates a week for this phone. It's simple to replace (compared to a Motorola v120 or even to a Nokia 6340), taking maybe 3 minutes to do.
