WOW!!!!

Jul 18, 2008 by coolman

This phone is great. All the positives have been covered. The Cons are that when the phone has 1 bar left, plan on charging it, because once it gets to bars, the charge will be gone in 15 minutes. Other than that this phone is great!!!!!

Nice and trustworthy phone. it is very easy to use it. though its small, to me its durable. I have dropped this device so many times and scratches dont really show. Its a tough phone with great features. I reccomend this phone to anyone

An Okay phone.

Well I got Orange/Black A737 for free when I switched from U.S. Cellular to AT&T. I'm happy I did, this service is so much better, AT&T actually care about their customers unlike USCC.

Pros:
Nice size, it's thin and not to wide.

Good camera, took pictures of me and my friends at the beach and put them on myspace and they looked like they come from my camera.

Internet is fast, the phone is 3G as well, and thats a plus.

Battery life is amazing. 3 days without a single charge.

Cons:
Internal Antenna sucks - I lose service quite abit, and I know its the phone because my best friend has a RAZR2 with AT&T as there are places where she has full service and I don't have any service period.

Scratches easily, I dropped it in Walmart parkinglot and scratched the screen. But other then that the phone still works fine.

Buttons flat, small. I text alot, so the buttons aren't the best for texting.

Other then those few cons I've not had any real problems with the phone. Its never froze on me or anything, the main con is the antenna. My friend has the green/black one and hers has the same problem with losing service.

Very Durable Phone

Had this phone for about 2 weeks...

PROS: this thing can take a beating! I inadvertently dropped it in the toilet (fresh bowl, but still gross!).. When I got it out it was submerged for about 20 seconds. After disinfecting it I took the pieces apart, let it dry overnight and i have had no issues at all since then. Thanks Samsung for making a phone that i can toss around!

CONS: I had to find a Sony drm packager hack to allow my own mp3s to play as caller ring tunes. Plus battery isn’t the best (but not the worst either).

Overall, solid phone!

Dropped Calls

Jun 27, 2008 by RedMomma62401

The back of the phone by the battery and SIM card gets really really hot. The phone drops calls constantly and when I contacted my wireless provider (AT&T), I was told the reception in my area was excellent, so it was a phone problem. Also have poor reception on many occasions - again not the service, just the phone. My husband has the same phone and has never dropped a call, but occassionally has poor reception.

Bottom Line, I like the phone itself, but I would not buy it again because of the dropped calls and poor reception. Very aggravating when you drop calls 3-4 times during one conversation.

Great phone

i just got this fone yesterday and i love it.

Pro's: able to turn recordings into ringtones.

great camera and camera features... such as frames and effects.

light weight and nice shape.

Cons: no signature for text messaging.

not able 2 change the At&t logo from home screen.

over all great fone and i recommend it to anyone.

Can't organize Addresses

Jun 11, 2008 by cafecomm

What wing-nut programs an un-organizable address book?

I tried adding "a" in front of my most frequent numbers, but it lists "A Home" ahead of "Aa Kevin" (whom I'd prefer to have in spot #1, but AT&T pre-empted that spot for their own use. In an emergency, I'll accidentally call AT&T instead of my husband. Great design, morons.) So it'll have to be A A Kevin, A A Mom, A A A ...
It looks SILLY.
So, how do they WANT us to organize numbers? Hey, presto - use the Speed Dial keys! Except that there's no list of Speed Dial assignments, and I'm hardly likely to memorize or remember "#7 Hairdresser", so I'll probably wade through my whole address book and all SEVEN of the pre-loaded AT&T promotional numbers that CANNOT be deleted or pushed to the end.
I hate this system and I'll try to return the phone and cancel the service. Wish me luck.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Pros
Everything!!!

-Cons
the camera is slow.

But, i did trade this in for a w580i and i would rather have the a737.

I see this mobile is focused on sports fans. has four colors very fresh lime, orange, blue and red. is very attractive. has a screen that the master but I think their point is to lose because consumes a lot of battery life

Disappointed

Apr 28, 2008 by jad0215

I got this phone through my insurance because my older slider finally died on me, and I'm very disappointed in this model for a few of reasons.

1. Buttons, while they do look nice, don't give you the feeling of pushing a button and I dislike that they aren't truly separate because it makes it easy to hit the wrong key when texting. I enjoy texting, and have gotten pretty fast at it over the years, but this phone makes it difficult.

2. Speaking of texting, when you misspell a word with predictive text and hit space, it automatically saves the word and makes it the first word to pop up and I haven't been able to find a way to delete the word list. It gets to be pretty annoying

3. The quick menu button on the side is not only pointless but, once again, annoying. I see what they were aiming for, I just feel like they missed it.

I like Samsung and I love slider phones, but I feel like this was poorly made.
