Great Phone!

Jan 13, 2003 by Iggster

When I bought this phone I was using Cingular for more than 3 years. Switch to T-Mobile and bought Sansung s105. I am glad I made the change to a new phone company and device.

Samsung s105 has greta batterry life, excellent voice qualities and the color display is great. To anyone considering the telephone, I'd say go ahead and make the switch.

The only concern I have is that all color display phones in the sunshine is impossible to see the display. Otherwise the phone is great!

S100 EURO VERSION

Oct 27, 2002 by JESUS MOSQUEDA

The Euro Olympic Version is so awsome. It comes with so many accessories and a data cable.

I just dont know why the cheese up the US version!

I give this phone a 4.0 For one reason only. Why make the BEST phone in the market with no BLUETOOTH FEATURES?

But if BlueTooth is not a major concern by this phone you wont regret it at all.

Its a good phone but i have a few qualms!

fisrt of all i'd like to give a shout out to homey Dustin. Now down to business.I got this phone about a week ago and i was amazed when it came out of the box. The polyphonic ring tones sounded amazing and the color screen was amzing although its not tfn. I fianlly got my gprs working from t mobile and this servie is honestly very usefull because I am a very successful business man who needs to check email at least once an hour. PLus i like the dating game! I have experienced some dropped calls in the passed few days which is puzzling because this phone is suppesed to eliminate trivial things that have plagued mobile users in the past. The feature that the phone is lacking which realy pisses me off is that there is no voice dialing feature. I can't believe that samsung would not put voice dialing on a phone. Whatever...ill deal with it. All in all its a good phone and u should buy one...it cathces all the ladies!!

This phone has great display! I have not seen any phone in the United States that has a display with so much colors. It beats out the phone i have which is the t68i and the Sprint samsung a500 which only has 4000 colors. the sound clarity is excellent.

Samsung S105

The Samsung S105 is an amazing phone. I was debating between the S105 and the Motorola T720 (GSM). If the GSM T720 has the same screen, interface, etc as the CDMA version, I’m glad I got the S105. The T720s screen is dull and dark, even with the backlight on. It‘s also heavy and the interface less refined. The S105s screen is excellent. It’s bright and clear with good color saturation. I was showing my S105 to a friend that told me to get a Sprint PCS Vision phone. After showing him this phone, and several comments of amazement from him it came down to this, “the Sprint phones are nice, but they’re not like this!” The top Sprint Vision enabled phone only supports 4,096 colors vs. 65,000 with the S105, though the Sprint does have an active matrix screen. The screen winner is still the S105, plus passive matrix screens use less power than actives. Polyphonic ringers are often too soft to be heard. The polyphonic ringers on this phone are loud enough that you can hear it ring in your pocket. The phone is very solid. It doesn’t have the flimsy cheep feeling that many folder phones have (if you’ve ever used a StarTac or Sprint/LG 1100, etc, you know what I’m talking about). The two included batteries are a nice touch. The blue backlit keypad looks great. I have never been this impressed with a phone. The price is justified and I highly recommend it.

All show and no go

The Samsung S105 was a huge disappointment. I had heard such good things about the phone, how good it sounded, how clear the screen is, how nice the ring tones are.
When I bought it I was so excited till I got it home and realized it has absolutely no features.
-no camera attachment
-no photo caller ID
even though it doest have a camera attachment downloading them would be nice and with such a beautiful color screen that would be a great feature.
-infrared only receives
who's idea was that. I realize it has lots of download features but come on I would like to send also.
-no bluetooth
I know its still kinda new but for such a high dollar phone that can only receive via infrared you would think it would have something of the sort.
- text messaging is always capitalized
-wrap around text messaging
this is the most annoying feature on the phone.
-external antenna
-bulky
come on samsung get with it
-FLIP
for anyone that actually uses their phone for anything other than just phone calls (and if you do don't spend your money on this thing) you should know that this is the most aggravating feature on a phone

bottom line is that this phone is perfect for people that just wanna have a phone that looks good but doesn't need it to perform.
so its back to my t68i and I will banish this piece of flashy junk to my girlfriend.
