jrgrubbs's review of the ZTE Savvy

ZTE Savvy Z750C Straight Talk

I have been in the communications industry for over 12 years and have traveled throughout the United States. I have had contract phones with various providers and find that straight talk has the best service and price. It true got service in many places that other carriers didn't provide. I recently purchased a ZTE Savvy from Walmart and have to say that so far it is very user friendly. Of course this is no IPHONE or Galaxy but given the specs and overall operation, I recommend this phone because of price and functionality.

Texting is a breeze with the 4" touch screen keyboard. It even will create texts using speech instead of typing and so far seems very accurate.

I haven't found an APP that it will not install and I have installed many.

The Google Play Store works good and you can install the Amazon APP Store with no trouble and it works perfectly.

There is a small lag loading some web pages but not bad considering it uses 3G service.

The Email client works good but I downloaded the Outllook APP and it works good with your hotmail account. (There are advertisements at the bottom of the screen)

The 5 MegaPixel camera works really good.

I haven't tried any office apps (other than adobe reader) so I can't comment.

If you are new to Android OS this phone comes with 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and will definately get you going and keep you going for a long time.

The battery life seems very good so far.

This phone has a $150.00 price tag but well worth it.
