Resendetra's review of the Samsung Galaxy Rush

original version, submitted Mar 31, 2013, 7:19 AM:

Great phone for a good price!

I bought this phone the other day to replace my HTC Wildfire S that I had through Metro PCS. I love it already! It has much more internal storage than my old phone, which is a big plus in my book. Touch screen is a bit overly responsive, all you really have to do is hover your finger over something and it will work, which sometimes can be a problem. One time I dropped my phone in my lap and it opened an app and another time I was talking on the phone and my face decided to open Angry Birds, so like I said, overly responsive. It has a nice bright screen and the phone never seems to lag or become sluggish, even though I already have a lot of apps. The phone does become a bit hot when talking on it for too long, so if you have a bluetooth headset, use it. ICS works perfect on this phone, but swipe for answering calls isn't always easy to use. This phone does have predictive text (auto correct), sometimes too predictive though. Battery life could be better, but that could be that my apps are eating it up. But all-in-all it's a great phone. Even my boyfriend wants this phone over his Galaxy S II.

PROS
---------
- Great call quality
- Very responsive touch screen
- Fast and responsive - no lag from what I can see
- Great 3G coverage everywhere in southwest Michigan
- Nice front facing camera for Skyping
- Bright screen
- Good amount of internal storage

CONS
---------
- Difficult to answer phone calls due to the swipe feature
- Users with big fingers may have trouble using the on screen keyboard
- Battery life
