LG VX-8600 / AX-8600

number on front display

Is there a way to get the incoming number to display on the front display. By openning the phone I answer the call. I know I can turn that off. However, I would prefer to be able to discretely pull the phone out of my pocket, look at the caller, and determine if I should take the call.

I realized that without call display it won't work. It has nothing to do with the settings.
