Keep missed call notification on?

Is there a way to set the 8600 to keep the missed call/voicemail notification on the front screen all the time? My old phone always showed me if there was a missed call/voicemail without hitting anything. I could just glance and see.

Can the 8600 to that?

When you have a missed call and/or voicemail, there will be icons on the bottom of the screen, front and inside, that indicate so. They do not go away until you no longer have new vm and view your missed calls.
