Hello
I've finally qualified for the 2 every 2 and have just received the LG 8600 Flip

Just purchased a HBM-500 Bluetooth headset and when a person calls

They say it sounds annoying since they're voice echoes
am i doing something wrong?
My voice sounds OK to the caller, But when the caller begins to speak, They hear a Very Echoed Voice

I apologize for my vagueness since this is my first Experience with blue-tooth

Thanks in advance

I am seriously considering the 8600 but am worried now after reading this post. I use my bluetooth all the time and would be really upset if that echo were a problem for me. I have the Motorola 500 and 850.

I had a lg6100 and kept it only a few months because when I used my wired headset it made a beeping sound (sort of like a hearing test)! It was fine as long as you didn't use a headset. Never tried the bluetooth with it though.

I had the same problem. I solved it. Turn the volume down on the headset. I have the plantronics voyager 510, and when this happens, I just turn the volume down and the other person stops hearing themselves, which I agree it is annoying. I think the mic and ear piece on these small headsets are so close to each other, when the volume is turned up the mic is picking up the voice from the earpiece.

hope this helps.
