How do I record videos longer than the several seconds that I currently can do on my 8600.

Maybe if you get a memory card and record directly to it that would work, I'm not 100% sure because I never tried to record to the phone's memory.

Oops, sorry, but my last answer might've been wrong. If you go into the options menu in the video recorder mode you can set the record time from 15 sec to 1 hour.
