Ringtones for caller ID (VX 8600)

I thought I read somewhere on here that for the VX 8600 you cant use the ringtones as a caller ID. Or that you cant use a specific ringtone for a specific contact.
Can someone tell me if thats true?

You can set different ringtones for different callers. All you have to do is go into the contact you want and edit it it you scroll almost all the way down there is a place to set a ringer. You can also use picture caller ID with this phone.
