digital clock on front

I've got my inside clock set to digital, but can't find a way to officially set my outside clock to a digital format.

Depite this, when my phone is on the charger, the outside clock shows in digital format.

How can I set the outside clock to digital format when it's off of the charger? It's obviously capapable of displaying such.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

If you mean the actual "digital" format (as available for the inner clock) rather than normal format or analog, it's not available for the outer clock.

I've never seen the clock change format when on a charger except if there is a problem with the phone, ie. software issues.

Sorry the information wasn't really helpful.

Version 4 of the phone's software actually adds the feature of having a digital clock as the screen saver. It's a software upgrade, not an issue.

Outside of a screen saver, there are no changes to the options for the clock on the front screen.

It's either "normal" or "analog"

The inside screen can do the large digital clock

It's helpful to know there's someone out there who's given it a thought and not come up with something new, so thanks for the reply!

The fact that it actually DOES disply a digital format on the outer clock makes me think there must be a way to access that. It also DOES seem a pretty trivial pursuit, so I'll not get my hopes up.

I love the version 4 screensaver clock but the problem is that it is never available unless the phone is plugged in (which is only when it is charging). When it is on battery, the screen goes into sleep mode rather than display the screensaver to conserve power. So while the new screensaver feature is cool, it is 90% worthless. I've been desperately trying to make it my wallpaper but cant figure out a way to do it.
