Is there a external antenna port on the enV 9900? I can find reference to the port on wilson electronics web for the pigtail adapter, but can not find it on the phone?

On the enV, there is no exterenal antenna port. The antenna is built into the phones circuit board.

Great News! I called Wilson electronics and asked tech support about their reference to a external port on the LG 9900. They told me to look under the 2.0 mega pixels cover just under the camera lens? Yep! there it was, so the 9900 does have the external port much to my surprise... To get to the external antenna, use a small sharp object to pop off the small square on the back of the phone next to the camera lens. I haven't been able to do this without scratching my phone. 😢

I used a small dental pick, yes, you have to be careful, but i did not scratch the phone. I needed the external port because i live where the reception is poor and a external antenna raises the signal. Good luck!

This past year a friend hooked his new razor to an external antenna and now the only way he can use his phone is by hooking it back up to his external antenna. There is a built in switch that flips to external and internal antenna. Once flipped to the external it won't flip back to the internal. We bought new samsung synx and it did the same thing the razor did. There is no fix when...

The external antenna plug is located under the tab by the camera lense. This works great with this phone. You will need an external antenna and an adapter, Wilson 359919. An amplifier is optional but also helps.

I camped this last deer hunt in the Superstitions and had cell service from my camp many miles and many canyons from a cell tower. I also can now drive from Phoenix to Payson Arizona without a drop. I use a Wilson external antenna and it works for me. My service is the Verizon.
