LG enV VX-9900

I'm on the fence about getting this phone HELP!

Hey ,
I really considering this phone... I love the color (orange) and the keyboard,camera etc.

My main concern is the key guard issue. I keep my phone in my back pocket and im seriously worried about this phone accidentally dialing.

Is this a issue ? Does the key guard TOTALLY stop this from happening.

Also I have always had flip phones ...Did you have a hard time going to a candy bar phone ?

I have heard from many places that this is a problem. One person had it "hanging" after it selfdialed a number. Isn't it a bad idea to keep it in your back pocket though? i can't imagine that sitting on a phone is very good for it. 🤤

I have this phone and I actually dont have a problem with accidentally dialing out or anything... and in the beginning I had a little trouble going from a flip phone to this, but it was so worth it. I used to have the razr, and I LOVE this phone so much more.

I just got this phone yesterday and have had no such problem. There is a key guard that automatically turns on after 5/15/60 seconds. And contrary to what everyone said, it isn't disabled if the phone is opened the slightest. It does come off easily, but if its in your pocket it shouldn't be disabled to bad. Since it has to be opened about 1/2 in. Also you can put on a Key lock, that has to have a 4 digit password entered into it before it will allow any numbers other than emergency to be dialed.

So about my post before, i apologize and retract what i said, though it was what i had heard.
